Deviance is when a person does something out of line, This can be physical, sexual, mental and emotional. Usually when someone is deviant it means they do not follow the social normal that most people do.

I think the joker is a really good representation of deviance in media because everything the character does is out of the blue. He constantly pushes the boundaries of the law and social normal, He wears face paint to help hide his identity and he also commits very violent crimes.

Deviance I see daily is the one and only "Toronto man" this group of individuals got their name from the location that people think they came from, that being Toronto. The reason the group of people is deviant is because every chance they get it seems they are rude, threatening or being overly aggressive. Most bystanders find them cringe and unbearable to deal with. Also the clothes they wear can be slightly questionable at times.

When it comes to politics it's the last place we want to hear about deviance. However deviance is found all over politics to scandals and just bad law making that can cause harm certain groups of people or culture. They can also just spy on you as well.
