How social media and food marketing related each other? As I can see, there were a lot videos on food. Those videos are on trend nowadays. People get to know information more faster and efficiently easily when see the advertisement facebook, instagram and online web. Youtube five seconds advertisement actually are so wasting time. But when i saw the belvita biscuits (?), I am curious and making me to try it once. So people tend to market or sell their food using this social media. In addition, buying food from facebook, instagram are getting easier just pay online using online banking. As well known, nowadays, technology like iPad, smartphones can not be separated especially the youth and the application like Facebook, twitter and Instagram must be installed by them. through this application, customer will know about the product, the customer feedback and others. As example, i saw my friends post about seaweed biscuit . I looked at the post and i feel interested to try. then, i as her about that biscuit. From there i know where her buy, the taste, her comment about that product.&nbsp; Then, through the social media, it will easy to introduce food product to people. People that live far like other country also can know about that product. The Hashtag in Instagram play large important role. Through this Hashtag, I can find a product just type the name with hashtag, then i can know how many people have try it, the place and the feedback about this product. But, not all people afford to have smartphone or other gadget. This way only useful when have internet only.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Social media,websites or applications which user can create and share their contents or even to participates in social networking with the help of  internet.Computers,mobile phones,tablets are few of current electronic devices which able the user not just to capture,but also to share the their opinions,videos,news and etc.But for some they use it as a marketing tools to promotes or to sell their latest products to gain more customers/profits.In 2016,the are so many applications which allows the user to share their texts,news,pictures and etc,selling products and promoting an outlets in Instagram/Facebook/Line/Wechat is quite common nowadays.Even food blogging still active even though it have been quite decades.Yes,it can be useful especially those who just started their business,as part of their marketing strategy,although it is a powerful tools,but it can be really dangerous,as some might use it to send out fake news,or just for scamming.With just a click away,with social media,gaining new potential customer will be much easier and more convenient.Now,youth tends to look for trending and affordable food which was produced and prepared in a very creatives and unique way.Most of them will share their experiences and opinions,which in the end causes the others who saw or read the news to try it as well.Such famous Food Channels promotes some retails or outlets,thus gaining trust and new customer not just locally,but internationally!It shows that social media can be really effective in marketing food products.But,some are just bluffing when promoting their food products,in the end giving customer a bad experiences after buying it,how can we prevent that from happening?</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Nowadays, everyone can access Internet easily. You can access Internet at anywhere and anytime just with your cellphones. Therefore, there is no doubt that social medias such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat are peoples' favourite medium. Since these social medias are growing fast, the businessmen grab their chance at promoting their restaurants, cafe or food products on these social medias. It is known as social media food marketing. It is an effective way to promote their restaurants as it will attract many people to give a try on your restaurant. Once they found out the food of that particular restaurant is tasty, they will share it on their Facebook which indirectly helping the owner to promote his restaurant. <br>Moreover, there are people on Facebook and Instagram with large number of followers such as Jinnyboy, ReubenKang and Joseph Germani. They have a great influence on social medias too. Many of them are invited to write food reviews of some restaurant or cafe. Those reviews indirectly promoting the restaurants or cafes to their followers.<br>Besides, nowadays, there are many people selling foods via online. It is carry out by posting the information or photos of the foods on social medias and people may order online. The food seller will deliver food products to the consumers' house once payment is done or by cash on delivery. Therefore, we can actually market our food products online without the real shops or premises with the advance of technology. It is convenient for both sellers and consumers.  <br> In conclusion, food marketing via social medias is the trend now and do not underestimate the power of social medias. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Social media nowadays plays an important role in human’s life especially for teenagers. Almost all teenagers nowadays have at least one smart phone on their hand. They can easily access internet at anytime and anywhere. Teenagers nowadays like to buy thing through online because it is convenient and time saving. The food seller can sell and promote their products via online by stating the details and the uploading the picture of the product. Once the customers have make their payment, the food seller will deliver the food product to the customer within few days. By doing so, the consumer can save the time by searching the location of the shop and they can get the product easily to their house by only clicking on some buttons. After purchasing the food product, customer can give some review of the product so they can provide a clearer details of the product to the public. This will increase the confidence of the public towards the food seller and indirectly increase the sales of the product. Besides that, new restaurant can be promoted through social media such as facebook, instagrams and twitter since many of the public nowadays will have at least one of the social media accounts. The owner of the restaurant can promote their product and also share the location of their restaurant so that customer can get the restaurant easily through google map. Furthermore, the customer that visited the restaurant may upload their selfies on the social media and also the food they ordered before eating. By doing so, the friend in the social media may be attracted by the environment of the restaurant or the food in the restaurant. In directly, this will help in promoting the restaurant and attracting more customer to visit the restaurant. In conclusion, social media plays an important roles in food marketing thus restaurant owner or food seller should learn to use social media to promote their restaurant or food product so that they can save the cost that used in advertising their restaurant or products.<br><br></div>]]></description>

It is a quite easy and convenience way to help them search foods because the apps will guide them to reach the destination and also will provide many information about the foods and the restaurants. The apps also got show the reviews from many customers. They will comment and rank about the foods, the environment of the restaurant or even the service so that people will think that whether it is worth to eat before they decide to go. Sometimes, there is also many restaurants want to make promotions by selling the food vouchers in cheaper price in order to attract customers. Therefore, there is already many food and beverages businesses are using apps to engage customers, build relationships, promote their excellent food and also increase their restaurant reputation. Besides that, living in this modern society, most people would like to take photos of the foods or with the foods before they start eating. This is because the foods is served attractively with beautiful decorations, tableware and the interior design of restaurants are beautiful too. They will uploads the photos to social media like facebook, instagram and twitter to shares with their friends. Their friends will also give some feedbacks or comments and this indirectly promote of that particular restaurant to a wide range of people. From here, we can see that social media plays an important role in food marketing. Almost everyone has a smartphone. Not only can you attract potential customers through this way, but it can also boost revenues and profit. Entrepreneur can post the pictures of their products and this can help the customers to virtually see the desired product as if they are there. Facebook has become one of the most used social media platform that entrepreneur use to showcase their product or service.&nbsp; Personally,&nbsp; sale of homemade baked goods has been going rampant&nbsp; in my feed.&nbsp; They offer different flavors and they're even willing to do personal request. They charge each package which are filled with 6 pieces of cookies RM 25. I find&nbsp; the price okay but I don't think I'd but cause I don't really trust people who sell food online unless they are some good reviews. I'd buy goods like clothes online but when it comes to food I still prefer the traditional way of purchasing which are dine in, take away or delivery of trusted food service operations.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Does social media food marketing only offer advantages?There might be some disadvantages,for example that some food can be order online,but in turns out like not what we expected.Recent cases shows there are few "entrepreneur" sells cakes/cookies for the upcoming Eid Fitri,which promises a jar full of it,but yet it only comes half of it,while the center of the jar was filled with useless paper,just make it looks "full".I do agree with Sonia that traditional way of purchasing is more reliable,even with good reviews doesn't mean that it can be trusted,some were only reviewed by their own workers/good friends,worst of all they use a "bots",which help to write a repetition of "good" review,without the need of human to type in.Marketing food through social media,for some,maybe not that reliable,or not worth it at all.Here is one of the example of the scam</div>]]></description>

In today’s society, everyone rely one social media especially teenagers, what they did in their daily lives are connecting with social media. Social media actually plays an important role in promoting growth in food marketing. Why do I say so? Capturing food picture before eating had become today’s trend. People like to post their food picture to social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter as well as Snapchat to share with their friends and followers. Besides of taking food picture, society also like to ‘check-in’ their location when enjoying meals outside at restaurant. These actions actually help in promoting the foods as well as the restaurant. By searching through the hashtags of the restaurant name, we can get more information about the restaurant on website. Besides that, there are many local web celebrities especially bloggers and youtubers who have a large amount of fans are always invited to try the new food products or they’re sponsored by the company. This is because their reviews on social networking have great influence in promoting the food products. Last week ago, a transportation apps company Uber had partnering with Starbucks by offering Frappuccino beverage delivery service to society. Through this promotion, both of the companies can enjoy the benefits at the same time. Society nowadays prefer more convenience and simple way in getting their food and products. Mc Donald’s has created an ‘Mc delivery’ apps for smartphone users to place order and even track their orders by the apps. In this era with advanced technology, everyone of us for sure have our own smart phone. Surfing the internet such as scrolling the facebook, instagrams, twitter, wechat and so on become the lifestyle that the people live nowadays. By doing the social media marketing, the businessman can just take the photo of products by themselves and upload through any of the social media to spread the news to everyone without any further cost. People will share the post from one to another and finally more and more people will get to know the new shops or even the products. A very good example is, for me, as a students of UMS, Kota Kinabalu, I am studying here but I am still getting the news through facebook about the first robot restaurant will be operating in Kuching, Sarawak which is my hometown and it just starts to operate by yesterday. Honestly, I always get to know the new coffee shop or restaurants through facebook and it also helps me to get the direction too. This definitely shows the strength of social media marketing.<br>Another good example is, the latest promotion that I think most of you will know when you are scrolling the facebook or receiving email as a member, such as the Pizza Hut take away will be cheaper a lot, the Starbucks Frappuccino buy one get one free, the free nuggets or the Mc chicken bugger from Mcdonald, the secret recipes buy one free one for the selected meals and so on. Furthermore, some of the intelligent businessman combines the use of social media with the trends too. For example, show your pokemon go’s collection and they will give you special discount if you own specific pokemon or they spread the news through social media such as facebook to let you know their restaurant have pokestop to attract the pokemon players. To conclude, the social media marketing is really a very effective strategy to deliver the news and make the advertisement about a product.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Social media is a good platform to help people who are lack of capital to start their business. For example, facebook is one of the popular free social networking websites that enable users to create their own profiles, pages or groups by uploading photos and videos to let everyone see and recognised. I believed that nowadays most people have their facebook account even the elderly. They always swipe the news feed of facebook whenever they are free and this already become their daily routine. From here, we can see that facebook can become an effective channel for people to promote and spread their business in a short time since there have many people active on facebook. These days, there have many pages/groups present on facebook in order to sell their products. These pages/groups not only created by the owner to sell their own products but also have invited many other people to sell their things in the particular pages/groups too. Since there have many people had joined the pages/groups, this makes the pages/groups become more famous and more people recognised thus the sellers can sell their products more efficiently. Besides that, other social media like instagram and twitter can also help in promoting business because they have billions of users. In conclusion, social media is an opportunity for your business to enter the daily lives of billions of people without having a big start up cash to rent a premise, print out the flyers or advertising in newspaper and television which cost so expensive to promote your business. It provides people a convenient way to generate their business that they no need go out to work and just simply stay at home and open their lap-top to start their business.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
