He then leads a story of love, where characters fall for the wrong person but fall for the right person in the end. Together in this production with me are my friends, Vibhu, Noah and Zeruiah. This is where the event was held, many of my fellow peers and classmates went to swim and help out during the event. I was part of the helping team, I helped place and score, during the event. Annoyingly tho I was forced to say "Hi whats your name and lane please" to every swimmer at the event. As they had to go through me after their heats to get their points tallied onto the counting system. However, without bias I did my job well and in the end my school, POMIS, won in the seniors division. The Show was a great success for the entire Cast and Crew. We managed to out do each of our performances, from the very first to the very last. It was an amazing, memorable experience and something I am keen on joining when the opportunity shows itself. Performing to a crowd of 200 people in excess was at first quite nerve racking however, we all managed to overcome our fears and pull out a show worth watching. All the effort and time put in was worth while in the end, despite having to manage all the school work and other responsibilities tasked to us as in IB/ACT student here at Port Moresby International. . The Dance was called Piso Sayaw Sa Banko, my best translation is, A dance on benches. Learning from video’s found on the internet as well as coaching from my relatives from the Philippines. I was able to choreograph the dance and teach the dance as well as learn it myself. Overall, it took time and team work to pull the dance through and to make it the success that it was. It was a commanding task having to teach my fellow peers, which I now call my friends. The dance was memorable, and I have learnt many lessons along the way. With the help of my friends and peers, together we polished the dance and I can truly say, it was a team effort and I couldn’t have made it the success that it was without them. Other than this, as part of my responsibilities as leader, I had to ensure communication of practice times and the creation of the benches that we were going to use. I came along to their meetings and contributed ideas and joined in their team discussions. In addition to this, I and along with a few other members of the debate club attended the debates, which lasted a whole day. The trip was both charitable and scientific, the resources raised would be donated and distributed to schools in the area, whilst the data collected would go to the bank of information about the biodiversity in the area. So far, the trip is scheduled to take place later in the year. Nevertheless, we were able to organise, sort and collect material donations like books and stationery. As well as, raise fund through, sausage sizzles and from other charitable donations.
