I know the semester ahead can be scary for some if not all of us. It's gonna be ok. Just trust that God will lead and will guide you through it. Even if God seems far from you, know that He had never abandoned you or forsaken you. He had never left your side and He never will. So entrust this long sem unto God, make an attempt to seek His presence throughout this sem and let the Holy Spirit speak to you <3 you got this! we are fighting alongside you in this hectic semester ;)

i hope you're doing okay and hanging in there. i know you have gone through a lot of heartbreak and pain recently. i'm sorry things ended that way. but please know that those experiences will make you stronger!

you can get through this! take the time you need to heal and lick your wounds. but don't forget to get back up again and continue taking risks. we believe in you!! <3

trust in the Lord with all of your soul, heart and strength. He is the only one who is perfect and will never let You down. He's never far away - he's right there beside you, cheering you on as well!

if you're feeling down or sad, here are a few things that you can do :)
1. blast music into your ears!
2. watch crack videos on youtube
3. take a nap
4. have a walk in the park
5. explore new things/ skills :D

There's definitely been some ups and downs (i know its cheesy but bear with me) this year for all of us, but i'm sure its definitely better and more manageable than last year. So here i share some tips from my personal experience that can hopefully help you prep for next year;
- When you're at the peak, don't feel afraid when going down...embrace the thought that you have experienced the peak and allow yourself to fall. Make sure to have a really good support system and keep up with your basic daily routines, so even if you're falling...it won't hurt as much ;)
- When you're at your lowest, know that you'll come back up. Maybe not on that day, or that week, or that month, but you will come back up from it. You can also ask yourself "What is this experience trying to teach me?" instead of "Why is this happening to me?". This way, your low moments becomes the reason why you get stronger!!
I have more to share but these are my top two when dealing with the highs and lows of life, wishing you all the best <3

I just appreciate every single one of you here be with us in this journey. Thank you so much for spending 2 hours of your Friday week in and week out. I just hope that CF is a place for you to relax, get to know others and definitely grow closer to God. If there is anything that we did inadequately, I apologise on behalf of the committee. Thank you so much once again and have a very very nice semester break ahead, spend this wonderful time with your loved ones!
See you all next semester if possible :)

2021 has been tough, 2022 gonna be tougher BUT its ok, because we have each other, and most importantly we have God with us by our side. Let us make the most of whatever we have left of 2021 and work towards a better 2022 together to honour God and glorify Him in all that we do <3

Dear you,
I hope you know that you have been fighting for the better parts of life for a while now. Do know that it's alright if things currently sucks as it'll be better. Do acknowledge your worth and all the effort you have put in all the things you did because you deserve that and more. I hope 2022 will be kinder to your heart and mind, if not, i pray you'll be strong to get through the year. Please be kind to your mind and heart as well, they both deserve lots of love as well. 2021 was the year where I learn to let go of my own thoughts, ideas, plans, actions, and possessions to God. Abandoning myself, and let the spirit of God just animate me where He wants.
Well, it worked much better than when I relied on my plans and actions.
The best thing is, I can still ask Him (pray) to get certain things... and I believe that He will give 'em to me...

So, I'm sorry, but 2021 was not a 'tough' or 'bad' year for me... as I feel I got closer to Him... hope you guys felt the same.

Welcome home

Home has always been a strange word to me. Home is having a foot in different countries, finding new families wherever you go and being with people who love you, either physically, virtually, spiritually, or emotionally. I know sometimes you might feel alone even if you're in a (virtual) room full of people, or if you're at home with family who doesn't entirely understand the things you feel. I pray that no matter what the outcome of your reflection was: good, bad, comforting or rebuking, I hope that you feel at home where you are, and that you feel at home with us in CF. I pray that we can get to know YOU deeper and build this family so that it's a place you can call "home" and find refuge in. Yes, university is about learning, finding a job, being "successful" (whatever that means), but it's also about learning more about yourself and hopefully, building a deeper relationship with God. He loves you so much and I pray that in Him, you will find light in the darkness.

John 3:16-21
