After filling out the worksheet, students can share their ideas with groups.
Academic Everyday Word Wall: The teacher can use this strategy to find words students use when talking about students who are deaf and or have disabilities in general. One side could be the everyday terms and one side could be the medical/academic terms.

Teaching Idea: This poem should be taught in a middle school class, and the teacher needs to explain acceptance. The teacher should describe why it's important to accept everyone, no matter what. Students can respond to "what would you do" situational questions.
