This system includes national governments.<br>Pros-<br> </div><ul><li>Access to international aid and financial support</li><li>It contributes to world peace. It reduces risk of invasions, more checks on big powers and limitation on nationalism.</li><li>International organizations are often committed to spread values like freedom and to fight abuses within countries</li><li>Smaller countries can work together and gain more influence internationally</li><li>Governments can learn from each other </li></ul><div>Cons-<br> </div><ul><li>State sovereignty is reduced</li><li>The functioning of international and supranational organizations is often not “democratic” in terms of representation and accountability</li><li>Big countries can shape decisions in supranational organizations</li><li>Sometimes countries can veto decisions and slow down decision making processes</li><li>Coordination is difficult and expensive</li></ul><div>How does it link to fairness and development?<br>It links to fairness and development as countries are coming together as nations and helping each other in order to share resources.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Definition:<br><br>Political globalisation refers to the amount of political co-operation that exists between different countries.<br><br>&gt;Pros:<br>- It allows access to different resources and materials available in different countries.<br>- It helps to increase peace between the different countries.<br>- It also helps to strengthen the relationships between countries.<br>- Smaller countries also benefit from this as it allows them to get more exposure.<br>- Govenments can work together and learn things from each other.<br><br>&gt;Cons: <br>- It becomes difficult for the two countries to coordinate.<br>- Richer countries have an advantage as they have more money hence they have the upper hand.<br>- Richer and bigger countries also can exploit the poorer countries.<br><br>&gt;Link to Fairness and Development:<br>This links to the global context as political globalisation allows the countries to develop as a whole and it ensures equal resources are shared between the different countries. <br><br>&gt;Where has it taken place the most? <br>Most of the globalisation has taken place in USA and Europe. This is visible as they are the most multinational countries and offer products from different countries as a whole.<br><br></div>]]></description>

Less stereotyping and fewer misconceptions about other people and cultures</li><li>Instant access to information from anywhere in the world</li><li>Capacity to communicate and defend one’s values and ideals globally</li></ul><div>Cons: </div><ul><li>Some small cultures may lose their distinct features</li><li>Dangerous or violent ideals can also spread faster</li><li>Westernization, cultural imperialism or cultural colonialism</li></ul><div><br>Link to global context:<br>Cultural globalization links to the global context fairness and development as this type of globalization spreads cultures and their product to different parts of the world. This also makes these products  widely available between countries as well. Some of these cultural values and beliefs can benefit other countries by developing it in different ways such as stereotyping and misunderstandings. <br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>How does globalization intensify disparities</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>One way globalisation can increase inequality is through the effects of increasing specialisation and trade. A rise in trade-to-GDP ratios signifies an increase in the volume and value of trade between countries and regions. Although trade based on comparative advantage has the potential to stimulate economic growth and lift per capita incomes, it can also lead to  a rise in relative poverty.<br><br>As people in some parts of the world get richer, people in other parts get poorer. For example, if a country can now import cheaper steel from elsewhere, then there will be a contraction in domestic supply and a fall in employment and real income in that industry. This leads to higher rates of unemployment and lower living standards. </div>]]></description>
