Cyber bullying is a big problem in our society, as kids younger and younger are exposed to social media. Bullying over the internet can have huge consequences that we see on the news or in the newspapers everyday. When they bully people perceived as lesser, they make themselves feel better and appeal to the other bullies, thus feeling accepted. The bullies themselves are insecure about themselves and must get validation from putting others down. Bullying at schools has gone on since schools have been around. By giving children an environment of acceptance, there will be no room for bullying others. Parents should teach their children how to be leaders, to sit with the lonely kid at lunch, to make friends with a perceived odd kid.
