Did you enjoy the book and why?

Which part of the story made you feel a certain way? e.g. nervous, happy, relieved, scared.

My favourite character was Harry, but I did have to think hard about that because it was difficult to choose my favourite character.

I would recommend it to others.

The main character is called George. It’s about him helping different animals. like a giraffe had a cold neck, so he gave up his new tie to give to a giraffe. there was a goat in a boat and his sail blew away in a storm so he took his T-shirt off and gave it to the goat as a sail. and then some mouses house burnt down so he gave up his shoe as a house for the mouses. And then there was a fox who dropped his sleeping bag into a puddle, so George gave his sock as a sleeping bag. And then there was a dog who had to get across a bog, so George took off his belt. Let the dog walk along it. And then his pants fell down so he had to go back and get his old clothes. animals give him a letter about how great he was of helping.

Has great illustrations. I think it’s definitely worth buying to read and we’ve definitely read it when we’re in year one and year two.

Mr Killy Kranky- a kind short man who has an enthusiastic heart. He is also keen to get rid of Grandma and is sort of the owner of their farm.

Mrs Mary Kranky- a very nice, kind woman who loves her mother (Grandma) and adores her son (George). Although she loves her husband, I think she can get fed up from all his keenest sometimes.

Grandma- a creepy little women who bosses George around but only does this when his parents aren’t there. She is the one who takes a sip of George’s Marvellous Medicine. That completely changes her life!

The main storyline of this book is.

George is left alone with his grandma for a little bit so he decides to make a potion/medicine to cure his grandma of her evilness. She becomes so tall a crane has to pull her out of the house. When George’s dad comes back him and George run around the farm giving all of the animals a dose of George’s potion. However they run out and try to recreate the mixture but fail. Grandma takes a sip of tea (or is it) that changes her and her family’s life.

I absolutely loved the book! It is quite short but every detail is great. My favourite character is Mr Killy Kranky because he is so enthusiastic about everything and I really like his nature. My favourite part of this book is when George goes running around collecting all of the ingredients for his medicine. Parts of this book are really funny like when Mr Kranky let’s Grandma drink the fake tea.

Their mum explains that it can connect them to anyone they love wherever they are. By the end, Liza and Jeremy understand that even when they are apart from the people they love the Invisible String will always keep them connected.

He came back and made a plan, he sent these 3 kids to santas cottage Lock, Shock and Barrel. They kidnapped santa and sent him to Jack. Jack told him the plan but he still ignored Zero.

Jack left for Christmas town and there became this terrible fog. Jack couldn't see so Zero had his moment to shine and had his nose shine brightly. But Zero still couldn't quite save the day, because Jack gave out creepy and scary toys. As Jack left people sent up misels and bombs but he just thought they were fireworks. One hit the coffin shaped sleigh and began to walk back to halloween-land. He sat crying on a grave untill santa came up and told him that he tried his best but he still shouldn't of done that, so santa saved the day and made it snow in halloween-land. Jack be came very happy.

My favourite character is Zero i like how he saves the day by making his nose shine like an orange diamond!

My favourite bit is when it snows at the end.

I like the cliffhanger at the end were it feels like Christmas has been ruined until santa saves the day.

If I could choose I would like to live in Christmas land with santa!

I also like how you can tell the difference between the book and the film.

school and a girl called Lola who tries to learn

how to walk the tightrope but wants to be a clown and she is afraid of hight’s. So she portend to be a clown and she gets caught

In later discoveries, Jack finds out that someone is going to shoot the protected falcon that is very rare but the others are unaware because they are waiting to see the falcon (they are birdwatchers)

Later, the group finds out about this and are planning to uncover this demon to the police. The group goes undercover to reveal the person to the police and the whole world.

I like this book because it is solving crime. My favourite character is Jack.

There are lots of characters but the main ones are Ellie, Mum, Mema, Coralee, and Jonah.

My favourite character is Ellie because she is very determined and courageous.

In the book there is a girl with a pet raven and lots of thieves.The thieves use the girl to steal things but treat her horribly. One of them even killed her parents. They threaten her that they are going to kill her if she runs away.

Ava and the group help the girl run away with her clever raven. The thieves hunt her down in Aves wood but the group set a series of traps. They fall for them and the police show up.

The main character was Jack and he and his fellow Twitchers ( Terry, Vernon, Ozuru and the Kingfisher girls) try to solve a cat killer case but stumble across a deepening murder plot.

I enjoyed the tenseness of the book, because of the murder plot and the cat killer(s)

This was an epic experience to read this book and I should definitely recommend it to other lovers of Greek myths.

My favourite character is Harrison because he is very adventurous and likes solving mysteries.

Then he started a journey to get a BIG dog to fight off the gentleman's cats. It was raining so he found a small hut and then a cat called Holly woken him up. After that night they found a cat called Tam and started a adventure together. But then Tam went missing and they searched and search and didn't find her. In an alley they found a Dog called Cludge.

After they started to walk back to the Contessa's house. Cludge couldn't climb so Holly and Varjak climbed over the fence to find Varjak's family having a family council and he gone in to room and Holly went to see what was upstairs. After that Varjak heard a scream and gone upstairs to investigate and found this massive cage with 100 cats in including Holly and Tam.

He used his skills and became invisible, he unlocked the cage and it was successful. After he fought off the black cats and found that the black cats were robots. Then the gentleman grabbed Varjak and Cludge went bursting through the thick glass and scared off the gentleman. They said goodbye to Varjak's family and gone out the glass.

Hal soon finds a friend called Lenny.Some of the ladies who are royalty lost some of there expensive jewellery but the friends are on the case.

Then the princess comes aboard with them with her famous diamond necklace and someone steals it. Can the two catch the culprit and find out who it is?

I like this book cause as you can tell i like Christmas!

I would recommend this book to people that like books that teach you a life lessons and are non-fiction.

I like the end because, It was heart warming , inspiring and makes him feel slightly more connected to everyone in who-ville.

PS/ the little dots ........... like this is a cliff-hanger.

This book is really silly and i would recommend this book to people who like reading silly non-fiction books!

My favourite character was Jello (obviously!) and the other characters were Kas (blue hair), Fig (overalls), Skipper (robot) and Mags the rock creature.

There were cute bits, there were funny bits and there were explosions!
