a)  Going into school with an adult mindset and going into a major that brings joy and passion. Public health classes have been enjoyed. 
Has taken many other math classes, hope this one is different. 
Has had many jobs and hopes to enjoy it. 
Doesn't want to be at her current job forever, wants to do something she is good at. Likes talking to people. Eager to learn and wants to enjoy this and wants to go into business. 
has 3 kids, started working for Mcdonalds, became closing manager, learned more abut business aspect. knew he wasn't going to be working for them long. Went to new seasons, worked way up to sous chef. took econ and business classes and teachers inspired him to take stats.

2b: Flexibility is much appreciated (ie late passes and recorded zoom sessions)
2c: Concerned with working full-time while also enrolled in a math class. Also, quizzes can be stressful! ( and tests in general)
