         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.)<strong>Violence is seen strewn all throughout the novel, not necessarily physical violence, but emotional violence as well, without violence depth is not included which would make the book not interesting to read. If there were to be no violence in the story I don’t think that it would have a very good plot to go on, it would probably be a fall through book. It shows that not everything is good and not everything ends with a happy ending, the bad things never go away.</strong></div>]]></description>

I do agree with this, from personal experience my mom tried to make me become somebody I wasn’t and no matter how hard she tried it didn’t work. I became my own individual and that is how it should be with every kid, they should be allowed to grow up in their own way. Both fathers have shown "tough love" to their children and would always want to "fill in their own colors." However, these two relationships can differ because Soraya's father gives Soraya a hard time because of a past event, whereas Amir never fit into Baba's ideology.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Alyssa Abbott<br>6.) <strong>The idea of bravery and courage comes into play with how the characters act and what they do for the others in the novel. I consider Hassan and Sohrab brave and courageous. This does vary between characters. The most courageous character is Sohrab because he never asked to be put through what he was put through and he tried his hardest at such a young age and went through so much and came out on the other side stronger. </strong></div>]]></description>
