Moreover, I'd attempt to engage him by a more inclusive manner in class activities, in order to enhance his participation in students' teams (e.g. motivate him to take part in a school play).

In addition, a call to his parents seems necessary considering the lack of communication with them.

Last but not least, I would ask some like-minded coleagues to offer their opinion and help on the matter before addressing any worries to the school's headmaster or/and school's counselor.

Argiro https://padlet.com/Argiro/ajj6zylq9fwb/wish/192603733 At the beginning of every school year we invite the pupils' parents for the first day gathering, in order to inform them about the way their kids are going to spend their time in school, the rules they are supposed to follow and we establish in cooperation with the parents a weekly meeting for the rest of the year. Further more, we hold twice a year a play or a bazaar, in which parents are actively involved and of course we keep contact with them by phonecalls,emails or even the school's website when necessary.
