         <description><![CDATA[<div>English is the official spoken language which was inherited from the British colonial masters who colonized Nigeria to facilitate business transactions, education, culture, linguistic unity and for official purposes. They also speak "pidgin" which is commonly spoken by non educated people. There are 521 languages, 9 of which has gone extinct and 2 has no native speakers. There are 510 languages that are presently living. There are also three major ethnic group languages spoken in Nigeria from the West (yoruba), North (hausa), and Easter (Ibos) known as "wazobia" which signifies "come". Other ethnic groups like Edo, Isoko and many others are classified as minorities.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Nigeria coat of arm which is Nigreria's national symbol comprises of the black shield which represents the fertile soil,the white wavy band that form the letter "Y" represents the country's main inland waterway ;the rivers Niger and Benue which both meet to form a confluence. The two horses at either side of the shield represents dignity and pride of Nigeria.The yellow flowers at the base are coctus spetabilis, a type of flowers found in all parts of the country. The eagle represent strength of Nigeria while the green and white wreath on which the eagle stands signifies agricultural potentials of Nigeria.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The main religion of Nigeria is Christianity and Islam with just 19% of idol worshippers.The muslim are  mainly of the Northern and Western parts of the country while the Christians are mainly from the Eastern and Southern parts.The muslims from the northern parts invented the deadly sect called "Bokoharam" which means western education is a sin.they specialise in bombing, kidnapping and killing of the non muslims.they have left many maimed or killed in the bid to abolish government laws and establish their sharia laws"islamic laws"their violence and greed for power also led to the kidnap of 276 school girls were kidnapped from their school which prompted the world to go on a global campaign which was tagged "Bring back our girls".</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Nigeria is a democratic country with 37 states in it, with the capital city inclusive.Elections are conducted in every state of the country to vote in a new president and governors.every state is governed by a state governor while the country has just one president.Abuja being the capital city has a minister not a governor.A  president or governor is eligible to rule for eight years.when he is voted into office he rules for four years after first tenure elapse if lucky can recontest and be voted for a second tenure to make a total of eight years. There are also the law makers called the legislators but before any law is passed into law, the president must append his signature. All of the above are voted for by the citizenry.Nigeria has rule of law inherited from the british common law and from the 1999 constitution,which governs the country,citizens and its government.The present president voted for last year is called Mohammadu Buhari</div>]]></description>

         <title>Nigeria&#39;s Cuisine</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Due to the vast ethnical group in Nigeria, their cuisine also differs.The Northern parts of Nigeria's staple food is tuwo which is made from maize, the western parts staple food is Amala and ewedu from plantain and a kind of slippery vegetable. The eastern parts prefer fufu from cassava and vegetable soup, while the southerners prefer melon soup and pounded yam. pounded yam is made from yam tubers cut into pieces boiled and pounded with a mortal.while the soup is made from melon seeds.wash boil meat then blend the melon with pepper and crayfish.put a pot on the fire,add palm oil,chopped onions and blended tomatoes. allow to cook for a minute and then add the the blended melon seeds,pepper and crayfish and the meat sauce and cover to cook.add salt and seasoning to taste and the meat,fish.finally add vegebles either pumpkin leaves or bitterleaves stir regularly and cook for a while till u are sure its cooked to your taste. dish out a portion of the soup in a plate and  eat with the pounded yam .this particular cuisine is mainly from the Edo speaking ethnical group from the southern parts of Nigeria.</div>]]></description>
