My Artist Statement

I followed the rhythm and pace of the Jazz music in my art-making. When there were sharp sounds in the music, I made sharp lines. When there were wavy-like sounds, I made wriggly lines. The blobs of ink indicated a change of pace in the Jazz Music. The online canvas and Jazz music gave me the opportunity to do free-style art. It reminded me of similar free-style art when I was younger by using crayons.
