If I could be the happiest person today, it would be when my parents are finally free from debt and can live without the weight of financial struggles. Seeing them work hard under the sun, sacrificing their own happiness for us, breaks my heart. I just want them to be healthy and happy for a 100 years more, and to see them smile when I achieve my dreams.

I want to give back to my family and my community for all the love and support they've given me. That's why I'm studying and working hard to build my own Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and to have a program which I will call School Youth and Out of School Youth Program (SYA OSY) that will help out-of-school youth in our barangay (Simayung). I know how it feels to want to study but can't because of financial difficulties. My sister had to stop schooling because of our situation and our parents needed to chose between I and my sister who will continue education, and it hurts me to think that there are many other young people out there who faces similar struggles like us.

That is why I promised and oathed to myself that through my NGO, I hope to provide opportunities for young people to access education and pursue their dreams. I want to be the reason someone smiles, someone hopes, and someone believes in themselves. I want my parents to be proud of me, and for them to know that all their sacrifices were worth it.

Growing up, all I ever wanted was to be the happiest person alive, in my own little world. But how will I achieve that? How will I be the happiest person in the world? Now, I'm still trying to answer my own questions. I'm still trying to figure out what genuine happiness even means. I'm still trying to figure out my own self, to be honest. However, by trying to figure all of that at once, I realized that being happy is not measured by anything. Happiness cannot be dictated by anyone. If buying a sweet treat brings me excitement, then I know that made me happy. If my favorite artist announced that they will be releasing an album, then the wait is worth it because that will make me jump out of joy, and of course, happy. I figured that it doesn't have to be grand, lavish or anything fancy to be happy. Simple joys, they say. A good food, or a good sleep, or even a good laugh with my friends. What would make me the happiest person? Anything. As long as I get to enjoy my life with my family, my friends, and my partner. Because in the end, it's the shared laughter and memories that makes everything fulfilling. The happiness that I feel, and the contentment that I get to keep. It's everything I could ever ask for.

Appreciation is a word I love to use, especially when my family, my friends, and my partner shows me support in my academics and other things that I do. Although, I'm not really big on showing my affection to my family, I make sure that I show my gratitude, I know that it's not that grand, but saying "Thank you" and a matching kiss to the cheek makes them happy. Out of all people, I am most grateful for my family especially to my parents. All I can do to repay for their hardwork and sacrifices is do great in my studies and strive for a better future. I appreciate how they didn't have a say about what I want to be in the future. Even though they really dreamt of me being a Doctor or an Engineer, I appreciate that they fully support me in achieving my dreams. And I really appreciate that they didn't discourage me in any way, and just full on fueling my passion on being an Attorney. And of course, I appreciate my friends that I met along the way for being here along my journey. Lastly, to my partner who saw every phase, especially in my "adulting phase", God knows how much I appreciate everything that you do for me. I will make sure that I will make it up to you in the future, where we can all share a table and laugh off our shared joys and failures. Showing appreciation to them for me, is staying by their side, no matter what happens, through ups and downs, and of course, fully supporting them no matter what path they take in life.

How do we define “being the happiest”? Is it when your laughter lasts until sunset? Is it when your smile reaches the sun? Or is it when the birds sing, along with the stream- according NVM Gonzales? For me, being the happiest would feel like having tiny fireworks in your heart, having the mood so light that it feels like riding a cloud with trails of rainbow- makes you excited without worrying for what will happen next, without being anxious of the future. Being the happiest would make you wish for that certain moment and feeling would last forever- a wish to stop the clock and cherish. The definition of “being the happiest” is subjective- no one, not even the society, can dictate the reason of you “being the happiest”

But then..., what would make you the happiest? Is it when you finally get your dream car, dream watch, or dream house? Is it when you have 7 digits on your bank account? Or is it when you hit the jackpot in a lottery?- (I would be happy too if I won). What would make me feel like “the happiest person” right now is seeing the sharing of love in my family. I want to see the laughter of my grandparents. I want to see how my father teases my mother while sharing a laugh. I want to see my sisters get along. I want to see my family prepare the meals and fix the table. I want to see my family eat happily together. These things set the spark in my heart and make me feel like I can do anything. If I were to become the happiest, I would be greedy- I want to remove the concept of ending happy moments and even death. I want to keep seeing and feeling this kind of love without ending. I do not want to see them argue, shout at each other, be distant- all after sharing love. I want to erase the concept of “sadness comes after happiness”. I always say to my partner I want to be with her forever, love her forever, knowing that people won’t live that long. I want it to be “even death can’t do us part”. I want these moments to last forever, a story to never die. To live a life forever with a never-ending love would make me the happiest.

I am grateful for having a lot of people who support me- my family, my friends, and especially to my partner. I am grateful for my family who supports my studies and dreams- I will work hard and achieve my dreams for them and for myself. I am grateful to my friends for making things bearable- I will be there when they need help and I will stay true. I am grateful for my partner for believing in me, supporting me in everything that I do and for holding my hand when life seems unkind- I will reciprocate all the things that she does for me and give twice the love I receive. And lastly, I will never forget to say “Thank you”.

All of us wish to be loved by the people around them. We seek the love of our family, friends, lovers, and the people we know who value us. I believe in the saying that "Money can't buy happiness," and that is what would make me the happiest person in the world, not only today but as long as I live.

Being appreciated and loved is one of my dreams in life. Love coming from my mother, who is the only one supporting us morally, financially, and emotionally. And, from the person who is always by my side, my crying shoulder, one of my support system, and showing that staying with me is loving me. Most importantly, the unconditional love of Him, our God. Knowing that there is someone who is purely loving you is like shaping and completing you as a person.

I am always open about what I feel. Comforting me is just a matter of staying without even saying anything. I do show appreciation to them, especially to the people who genuinely believe in and support me. I am thankful to them, and I pray that they will get the same support they give. And, simply staying for them through ups and downs is how I show my appreciation for their support.

Malsi, John Mark A.

ABPS-3B

I consider myself as the happiest person of today because I am guided by goodness. It is all thanks to the deep connection my family has given to me throughout the years. They provided me the things that I need especially the love and care which every children want as well as the bond of siblings. They taught me how to become a better person by giving a proper understanding how life works, what is good or bad, what is a must and not. They've taught me the importance of struggle and reason that I believe is necessary in order for me to develop. They are the most important piece of my life because without them, I am nothing. I see them as the pillars that will support me towards a great future. Another thing that would make me a happiest person in the world is having a good friends. I can call them a second family, not because of blood, but because of the strong bond. By carrying what I've learned, the supports, memories and experiences with them, I can really tell that I am a happiest person in the world.

I am very grateful to them because they made me complete. To show my appreciation, this is what I think is a must. For my family, I am preserving the things they've taught me. Doing what is right, prioritize what is necessary, and other things where their teachings will manifest. I always pray for the health of my family as well as their safety. Also, having a deep communication will help me maintain a strong connection with them. A simple, yet meaningful action. And for my friends, I will use the teachings they've taught me to preserve our bond. I am hoping that no one will left behind and to achieve success one day.

Good day, Everyone! Honestly, it’s hard to be sad in front of people when they’re so used to seeing you happy all the time. You laugh, smile, and act fine, but deep inside, you’re already falling apart. What would truly make me the happiest person in the world today is having peace of mind.

Lately, I’ve been facing breakdowns because of problems in my family, my studies, and other aspects of life. Everything feels heavy, and sometimes, I don’t even recognize myself anymore. As a student, I always crave peace of mind. That simple feeling of calmness where I can breathe, focus, and think clearly without being drowned by worries. But peace of mind is not easy to find. It’s like chasing something invisible.

Still, in the middle of all this pain and pressure, I find light in the people who care for me. I’m thankful for my friends who never leave me behind, those who listen when I cry, who cheer me up when I feel lost, and who remind me that I’m not alone. They may not totally solve my problems, but their presence gives me the strength to stand up again.

I show my appreciation by being there for them too if they are also facing problems. I make sure they feel valued, that they know how much I’m grateful for their time, care, and love. A simple “thank you” may not be enough, but I always try to return the kindness they gave to me. Because of them, I keep going even when life feels like a storm.

Peace of mind and the love of people who truly care are what would make me the happiest person in the world today. In a world full of noise, chaos, and pain, I hope everyone finds that quiet place within themselves. That moment of calm where they can finally breathe and say, “I’m at peace.” Because at the end of the day, happiness is not about having everything, but finding peace even when everything isn’t perfect.

Thank you, God bless us all!

The question, "what would make me the happiest person in the world today", made me reflect on myself. What do I really want or need as of now to be happy? The only answer I could give— was to be with my Mom. Oh, how I wish she was still alive and with us. I miss the way her hand caresses me when I'm sick, the sound of her laughter, and simply seeing her presence before me.

Sometimes, I wonder if she can see me from above. I want to ask her if she was proud of what I've come so far. She is still my reason, my driving force for trying my very best in every aspect of life. I wanted to tell her that this little girl has now grown into a woman. To let her see how I embody her teachings and wisdom. She is the woman who taught me to always see the good in others, the woman who taught me how to love genuinely, and to be independent. I'm who I am today because this is what she planted in me. Surely, I would be the happiest person today if she was with me in this life again. Since what I want may never happen again, I want to shift my attention to my family. I don't want to ever lose any of them anymore. I want to spend more time with them so that I would not regret anything.

What I learned from losing my mother is that life is too short to be wasted. While we're still alive and breathing in this world, we must express our feelings to the one we love... to the people we are grateful for.

I may never be the happiest person again, but I can say that I'm at least gratified for those who are by my side all these years. They are the reason why I found my smile again, the reason why I can still love despite the sense of grief that I felt when my mother passed away. For those people who have supported me these past few years... to my friends and family who have become my precious gemstones, thank you. I may not always be good with words, but I hope my presence brings comfort the way yours has healed me.

To my friends and 3B family, thank you for being patient with me, for being so good to me. I'm glad that I've met each one of you.

I want to feel proud that I chose to let go, heal, and love myself even after being hurt.

I’ve learned to appreciate the people who stayed with me through my worst. I may not always say it perfectly, but I hope they feel that I’m grateful for their love, patience, and understanding. They reminded me that even if someone broke my heart, there are still people who genuinely care for me and that’s something I’ll never take for granted.

What would make me the happiest person in the world today is to see the people I love my family and friends happy and proud of me. Sometimes, we only realize the true value of people or things when we lose them or almost do. Back in my high school days, I often chose to be alone rather than be with others. It was lonely at times, having no one to talk to, no one to lean on, but I endured it. The thought that my family was always behind me, silently cheering me on, gave me the strength to keep going.

When I entered college, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and study in the city. At first, I was scared and lost because I didn’t know anyone. Everything felt unfamiliar and overwhelming. But as the days passed, I slowly learned to adjust. I met new people who accepted me for who I am, and little by little, the fear turned into courage, and the loneliness turned into friendship.

I show appreciation to the people who support me by letting them know how much they mean to me. I say “thank you” not just with words, but through actions, by being there for them, by showing kindness, and by never taking them for granted. I’ve learned that love and gratitude should never be hidden. The people who lift us up deserve to feel that same warmth and appreciation in return.

Because at the end of the day, happiness isn’t about having everything, it’s about being surrounded by people who make you feel that you already do.

Happiness doesn't come with material things, but the people that surrounds me. After days of thinking, I've finally realized what would make me the happiest person in the world. That is to be with my mother who chose to work as an OFW to provide our needs. I was only a year old when she sacrificed and bravely ventured abroad due to our financial struggle. Until now she's still working as a domestic helper. We only get to be with her when she comes home to the Philippines every two years, and even then, she only stays for two short weeks. We've never had the chance to spend new year's eve with her — not even once. We always welcome the new year without her by our side. I really missed my mom so much, I know she sacrificed so much just to give us a better life — even if the price was being away from us and not having our family complete.

I appreciate and I'm genuinely greatful to the people who stood with me through ups and downs, especially to my loving parents who've made countless sacrifices to give us a better life. To my papa, who became the strong pillar of our family and lovingly took on both the father’s and mother’s roles for us siblings. To my mama, even though it meant being apart, chose to work hard and endure the pain of distance so that we could have a brighter future. I may not always say this, but i love you both. I'm deeply greatful that both of you chose to raise me even though mama is still studying at the time I was made. And to the love of my life, my other half, my bestfriend, my gossip buddy, thank you for always staying by my side in every struggle we endured. As someone whom I've shared stories and secrets with, you know how I've suffered in life, my trauma, the struggles during my mental breakdown, financial issues, and many more. When all of them only saw my smiles, you're the only one who saw my tears. We have our own little fights but you chose to stay with me, even though I'm not good enough. You know how much I love you, till death do us part.

Sometimes, happiness isn't about material things or grand achievements, but the meaningful connections I share with the people i dearly love. I've realized that we should really enjoy the little things, the bonds we share, for one day as we look back and finally realize that they were the big things.

People often say that happiness comes from wealth, success, or having everything we desire. But for me, true happiness doesn’t always come from grand things — sometimes, it’s found in the simplest gestures, the ones that touch the heart when we least expect them. It’s not material things that make me the happiest person in the world today, but a small act that carried a deep meaning — a phone call from my father.

Last weekend, on Saturday, I celebrated my birthday. I spent it joyfully with my friends, my mom, and my siblings as we traveled to Isabela. It was a wonderful day, yet there was still a part of me that felt incomplete — my father wasn’t with us, as always.

Even though my father didn’t greet me on time, his early morning call the next day made me the happiest person in the world. When I heard him say, “Happy birthday, anak ko,” those simple words touched me deeply. It might sound ordinary to others, but for me, it meant everything — maybe because it was something I had longed for all this time.

Since I was a child, I’ve always been a papa’s girl. I used to be so close to him, and I was truly happy back then. But as time passed, life’s challenges and changes affected our relationship. The little girl who once adored her father began to feel distant — not because of hatred, but because of pain and disappointment. Deep down, that same little girl still longs for her father’s love and attention.

That’s why his call that Sunday morning meant so much to me. Despite being busy, he took the time to greet me. I couldn’t hold back my tears; I cried for hours because it felt like the first time he truly remembered me after all the misunderstandings and silence between us. It was such a simple act, yet it brought a happiness I hadn’t felt in years — the kind of happiness no amount of money could ever buy.

Right after that call, I messaged my friends — the ones who have always been there for me through everything. They are my constant support system, my shoulders to cry on, and my safe place whenever I feel down. I shared what happened, and one of my closest friends said, “Maragsakan man detuy pusok,” which means “My heart is happy.” That simple message made me tear up again, realizing how blessed I am to have friends who truly care.

To answer the second question, “How do you show appreciation for the people who support you?” — I show it through my actions and prayers. I make sure to be there for them whenever they need someone to lean on. I try to be that “one call away” friend who listens and cares. But more than that, I always pray for them, because for me, praying is the most sincere way of showing love and appreciation.

In the end, I realized that happiness doesn’t always come from what the world considers big or luxurious. Sometimes, it comes from the smallest gestures — a call, a few words, a reminder that someone still cares. My father’s call may seem small, but it made me realize that sometimes, the simplest things can make us the happiest person in the world.

It is standing strong even when storms hit you hard. The trials you have to go through everyday, but you won't give up. Why? Because parents won't give up even when they're exhausted just to give you world. And maybe, making me the happiest person today would be surviving every day in college just to make it to the finish line. It is hard, but surrounded by love makes me thrive, makes me grow and makes me genuinely happy even when the path is rough.

After learning the story of N.V.M Gonzalez’s “ The happiest boy in the world” I began to wonder, what does happiness really mean to me? Is it about having all the things you desire, having a lot of money, or having many friends around you? Or maybe it’s that warm feeling you get when you share dinner with your family while talking about your day? Is happiness is knowing exactly where your life is headed?

Now, I realize that real happiness isn’t about having everything. It is about being thankful for what you have everyday, no matter how small it seems, and when you stop focusing on what you lack. I believe true happiness comes when you stop comparing yourself to others and start appreciating your own small successes, and choose to genuinely celebrate others victory. That’s when I realized that happiness is not something you chase after, it is something you notice around you.

If you asked me what would make me the happiest person in the world today, I would say it’s seeing my family truly happy, healthy, and safe. I also find joy in the little things. Every time I read a Wattpad story from my favorite author, I can’t help but smile and giggle quietly. I love watching Family Feud with my family, we shout our answers and laugh as if we’re the ones playing on TV. I also feel the happiness when I get to eat at my favorite fast-food restaurant, or when a stranger smiles at me, or when a cars stop at the pedestrian lane, or when every time I get the correct answer from the choices in a problem-solving. Still nothing compares to the joy I feel everytime I come home after a long tiring week at school, smell my mother’s cooking, and sit down to eat while sharing stories about my day with my family. I also appreciate every time my family cheers me up by saying, “Kayam ayta, sika pay”. They’re the first to believe that I can do it, even when I can’t imagine that I can make it. But I would be even happier if I could see my loved ones achieve their dreams because their success would feel like mine too.

When it comes to showing appreciation to the people who support me, I admit I’m shy being so expressive. I tend to keep my feelings inside, afraid I might be judged. I often tell myself that I can handle things alone and that my emotions don’t really matter to anyone. But deep inside, I know how blessed I am to have a family who always reminded me that they always be there for me. I may not always say it out loud, but I show my love through my actions. I try to be a respectful and caring daughter and sister. I study hard so that one day, I can repay their patience, hard work, and all the love they’ve given me. For my friends, I show appreciation by being there when they need me and showing that I treasure our friendship.

And that’s who I am striving to be every single day, that someone who finds joy in simple things and gratitude every moment.

What would make me the happiest person in the world today is to feel peaceful and balanced inside. I want to have peace of mind and not be dragged into problems I didn't have a say in. When I feel stressed, I pull back and go rest, eat something delicious, or go for a walk with my earphones on. These little things help me stay calm and happy, and I feel good to have those luxuries.

For social dynamics, I don’t often dive into relationships because I think unnecessary emotions are complicated and sad, and perspectives can change quickly. I know no one’s life is free from problems, and trying to avoid all of them like they never existed is not realistic. Happiness, for me, is about staying cool, calm, and collected even when things aren’t perfect. And things are never perfect the way we want them to be. So why bother with things not worth anything? After all, those things are less than what makes life bearable to experience.

To show appreciation to the people who support me, I give them my time and energy. Just like everyone else, they’re my most valuable resources. I don’t love to spread myself too thin, and I don't love to play the martyr, but I also know that when I’m truly present with someone, it means a lot to them. So I save that energy for the people who deserve it the most.

Also, it's not that hard to hug people, talk to people, or listen to people from time to time. Most of the time, they don't need logical answers to their problems because that would hurt their feelings and make them question their intelligence, therefore making their situation worse. Most of the time, they just want a human being to be there for them and listen until their shell of vile human frustrations has finally been vanquished out of their system. Time and energy for someone are not hard to give, especially when they matter.

So the typical. Whether it’s saying “thank you” or “arigatou :3,” sharing a meal, or simply listening. I try to make those moments count. It’s the small acts that show I care and make relationships real. To be honest, it’s most enjoyable to make those the realest moments; when everyone is living in the moment, emotions are felt, shared, and recorded to the fullest extent. That is just how I show my appreciation to people, by giving them an experience that would last a lifetime.

What would make me the happiest person in the world today is not something grand, it’s the quiet peace of knowing that the people I love are proud of me. Happiness, for me, is waking up without the weight of doubt, knowing that my efforts, no matter how small, are finally blooming into something meaningful. True happiness doesn’t come from perfection or riches, but from the simple, grounding truth that I am surrounded by love, and that I am enough for the people who matter most.

For the people who support me the same way Julio cherished his father’s love, I try to repay their kindness through my perseverance and my respect. Like Julio’s father who worked quietly for his son’s education, many of those who love us give silently, without expecting anything in return. I'll do my best to make them proud and to let them see that their care was never in vain.

And so, I live each day with a grateful heart, knowing that happiness isn’t something we find because it’s something we build together, one act of love and one thank you at a time.

I am an introvert to heart hence when I see value in people that value sticks till the end of my days. it would make me the happiest if I could put a smile on their faces. The reverberating sound of cheer, laughter and joy makes my heart skip a beat. It reminds me of what life is really all about since life's purpose in philosophy is in pursuit of happiness. I would give back 10 fold to those that shown kindness to me through my ups and downs. I think the greatest appreciation one can show is to continue doing the great things they have seen from me, take it as a good form of pressure to fuel myself in order to keep moving forward.

I am the happiest person today because my mom is alive, healthy, and genuinely happy. As the firstborn daughter, I’ve seen and understood the depth of her sacrifices more than anyone else. She is the true embodiment of hard work, perseverance, and patience, qualities that I deeply admire and aspire to carry within myself. Growing up, I watched her juggle different jobs just to make sure we had everything we needed. Yet despite all the hardships, she never made us feel like we were a burden or pressured us to live up to expectations that weren’t our own.

What makes me even prouder is how she’s trying to break the toxic cycle that often exists in Filipino families, the kind where children are forced to grow up too soon or carry responsibilities beyond their years. Instead, she encourages us to enjoy our youth, to dream freely, and to live without guilt. That kind of love and understanding is something I will always be grateful for.

To show my appreciation, I make sure she knows how much I value her efforts, not only through words but through actions. I help her whenever I can, listen when she needs someone to talk to, and make her proud by striving to do well in life. Most importantly, I try to give back the same love and patience she has given me, because she deserves all the happiness in the world for everything she’s done and everything she continues to do.

“To be the happiest person in the world”—that’s what most of us have always wanted. If you ask me what would make me the happiest person in the world, I would simply say success. It has always been my ultimate goal—to be successful in everything I do. I want to succeed in every single thing I set my heart on. But I know that sounds too perfect to be true. There’s no such thing as perfect in human life—and that’s what makes us human, after all.

I have lived a simple yet meaningful life. I was raised in a complete and loving family, surrounded by the support I needed as a child. I never had to face unbearable chaos or endless drama. I’m just an ordinary person living in a world that’s far from perfect, but one that I can proudly say I am happy in. I have my parents, who give me their full support; my siblings, who cheer me up no matter what mood I’m in; and most importantly, I have myself—real, true, and without pretense.

I have ambitions that keep me striving, and dreams that guide me toward the future I desire. Yet, I’ve come to realize that true happiness isn’t only found in achieving success—it’s in enjoying the process. For me, happiness today means being grateful for the present moment, for the laughter I share with the people I love, and for the unwavering support of those who walk with me through life’s ups and downs.

The smiles of the people I care about—my family and loved ones—are what make my journey worthwhile. Their presence, love, and encouragement give meaning to every step I take toward my dreams. To me, the truest happiness is not reaching success alone, but having the people I love beside me along the way, which makes me enjoy the process of life.

I am the happiest because I have them—my family. They are my strength, my inspiration, and my greatest treasure. Having them makes me feel like I am already winning, even before reaching the finish line. Losing them is my greatest fear, for they are the reason behind my smile and my courage to keep going.

One day, when I finally achieve the ‘success’ we all say, I want them to be there—to see the result of all their love and support. To scream how much I appreciates them. But even now, just having them by my side makes me feel like the happiest person in the world.

It was plain and simple, or rather, just normal. Everything today was normal.

But what no one really sees is that everything I did today was for myself. Yesterday, I was so overwhelmed with deadlines that I barely had time to eat. I even took a shower late at night, i am clean yet feel so disgusted because my room looked like an intruder broke in and messed all of my stuff. What people don’t often realize is that sometimes, living a “normal” day means surviving the complexity that came before it.

Today may have been ordinary, but it was also a privilege–one that I shouldn’t take for granted. Whether it’s spending time with them, writing a simple message of thanks, or just listening when they need someone to talk to, these are my ways of expressing how thankful I am.

Being the happiest person in the world isn’t about having everything I want, but about being surrounded by love and showing appreciation to those who make my life brighter every day.

Kyla Paguirigan

I always received questions like this, growing up alone thought me that life is hard but beautiful. When i was a kid, no parents fetching me up or dropping me off to school. I do it alone, i do it by myself. No food being cooked for me, I can't relate to the trend right now which is the "ma anong ulam" because growing up, I was the one preparing my foods and no one is there for me to do my laundry and help me to do my homework or activities in school.

But experiences like this never hinders me to pursue my dreams in life, i always laugh, i always shows people how bubbly am i, and how i always shows people that being alone doesn't make you less. I am always the happiest when people around me always believed in me and always support me in everything i do. I'll be the happiest person in the world when everything that i dream of becoming will eventually fall into places.

I show appreciation to people around me by showing up, by supporting them in everything that they do. I always pray for their safety and for their success in life, that's why my friends loved me dearly because i always make it sure that thru their ups and downs i'm always there to help them.

Free to tell the truth because nowadays people are criticize for being misunderstood. Social media are very toxic specially today, it makes me happy when the Philippines will be at peace, no judgment, just be free and peace.

What Would Make Me the Happiest Person in the World

What would truly make me the happiest person in the world is to see people live with dignity not having to beg for what should already be a basic right. I want to see a Philippines where honesty isn’t mocked, where kindness isn’t seen as weakness, and where being poor doesn’t mean being forgotten.

Sometimes, I think about how unfair life can be. There are people who work so hard but still struggle to survive, while others live comfortably without ever understanding what hardship feels like. It’s not jealousy it’s the frustration of knowing that our system could be better, but it isn’t.

Peace for me isn’t just the absence of war or conflict; it’s knowing that no one has to suffer silently because of inequality or corruption. It’s when a mother doesn’t have to choose between food and medicine, when a student doesn’t have to give up school because of money, and when people can speak freely without fear of judgment or ridicule.

I know change won’t happen overnight, but I believe it can start with small things compassion, awareness, and courage. If we learn to listen more and understand instead of criticize, maybe we can build a kinder society.

I’d be happiest when that day comes when we can finally say that peace and fairness aren’t just dreams, but realities we worked for together.

– Camille

I believe I am already the happiest person in the world, yet I am still not content. I shouldn’t be the type of person to say that I am not content because I have everything that I could ever ask for in life. My parents are hardworking, and they are doing their best to provide for us and give us our wants and needs. My friends give me the support that I need. I am completely showered with love by the people that surround me, and I am content with what I have and my current situation in life.

The thing that I am not content with is my own self. I worry that I don’t know if what I’m doing is what I want, that I am the person who won’t help myself, that I settled for much less because I am lazy and would settle for mediocrity, and that I could’ve been more if I had given myself a little bit of a push.

I want to see myself amounting to the hard work my parents put into me, just to let them know that their efforts are not going to waste. I want to be a friend that would help others and not the other way around. I don’t know if I deserve the love and effort these people have given to me. I feel like a complete mess. But despite that, I know that they love me and would never ask for anything in return. They just want to see me be happy. The people that surround me right now are just all love, and I could never ask for more or wish for anything better. What would make me even happier, aside from already being the happiest person in the world is if I could just give them the love they gave me.
