On page 68, it states; “‘Gas--Gaas--Gaas--Pass it on.’” This quote is explaining how gasses were uses to harm people. If you did not have a gas mask you were dead.

Trenches

The slodiers had to stay in disgusting trenches. This trenchs were teeming with bacteria and virus. Some people got infections; such as trench foot.
