This is the general meaning of fashion, but I don’t think so. This is because we don’t have to wear popular clothes that many people wear. Fashion is all about expressing your style and being unique. Although I am not brave enough to be different from the others yet, looking at people posting unique fashion styles on social media makes me want to be different. My fashion style right now is mostly casual or a bit girly. I mostly like to wear casual clothes, but when I have plans to meet up, I normally dress up a bit formal like the picture above. Other than the fashion style in the picture, I also like to match colors with accessories. When I wear simple clothes, I wear printed shoes or bright color shoes, or put on some earrings. Fashion is also a style of behaving that is popular in a particular period. Most importantly, fashion is  a way for us to express ourselves. Expressing ourselves can be done in many ways, but I think the one that stands out the most is expressing the culture or the religion because all of the clothing styles inspired by religion and cultures are unique and exciting. I thought that some people might have different ways of looking at the same color. For example, one person might think red means anger but other people might think of different meanings like fire and active while other people might think of another thing entirely. This is why I put my traditional clothes in the Padlet. I usually don’t wear this, I only wear it when I go to festivals in Japan. But I thought that wearing traditional clothing really helps us express ourselves and are identified easily. However, I am neither willing to blend in nor to push boundaries. I always prefer wearing casual clothing. Casual clothing means dress in comfortable, informal clothing. I do not worry about what others think of my style. The reason that I started to think like this is since I came to Malaysia, from Korea, I noticed that people here have their own fashion styles. Even though it is a bold print garment or a standing-out piece of clothing, they wear it in front of other people without any shame. Believe it or not, it struck a chord with me. I am looking forward to seeing people not getting in trouble when they wear clothing.

It is also a way of self-expression that shows who you are. But I think everyone has their own definition of fashion and it doesn’t always have to be those popular clothes on social media, because different people choose to wear a different style of clothing that expresses and shows who they are. For me, my fashion style has been changing all the time, right now I’m more likely to wear comfy & casual clothes because  I don’t really feel comfortable to wear those ‘crazy’ fashionable clothes. I normally wear shorts and shirts or the outfit in the photo on Padlet, because I don’t really like to wear skirts (i don’t know why ), and for shoes, I prefer sandals more. I also focus on the colour choice when I’m choosing an outfit  For example, in the photo I chose a light blue colour pair of pants and the same colour jacket to match with a white colour sleeveless garment, so the sleeveless garment can stand out and I chose a kind of bright pink colour bag and a bright orange colour scrunchie to make this look for creative and fashionable because I don’t want to blend in. So when it comes to colour, I will choose bright ones and combine them with a light colour, but I don’t prefer bright colour shirts, but the pants or shoes are ok. For me fashion means expressing myself and expressing my feelings.  I don’t want people to look at me and think I am a dark person because actually I’m not a dark person. I talk a lot and I think that I'm a very bright person.  I like to wear a bright top because it expresses that I’m not a dark person and I'm an active person so it gives me a lot more confidence.  Also, I like to wear simple designs of clothes because I think it expresses that I’m not feeling introspectively  so in my home I have a lot of simple bright color tops.  There is no concluding sentence here. You need to add one so that your text doesn’t end too abruptly.
