         <description><![CDATA[<div>The establishment of making a student and their family feel appreciated and like they belong can begin with something as simple as a check in with the students adults seeing what information you get about the student and their life outside of school to help understand them inside and out if of school as well as get a feel for that students home life and have a better undemanding of what that student is processing through daily. Also encouraging students to be apart of and participate in <sub>open houses showing off their accomplishments and to their friends,teachers and family is huge deal and can really enforce that feeling of pride and make a student feel confident in their work and theirselves while including their family into their second part of their life they at school where they ar earning and becoming the person they are growing into everyday. </sub>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>We believe that for schools to build agencies in order to make students, families, teachers, and administrators like they belong we have to meetings in which teachers and all the staff of the school can share their ideas in regards to the school and discuss them every certain time. Another idea is how the students are approached and how we can help our students and demographics we work with to make them feel included to create a healthy environment where everybody belongs. Another idea is to make students feel engaged within the classroom with the help of fun activities in which the student can feel involved. Another agency may include the fact of being concerned of how each student may feel and how they work in order to maintain the classroom as respectful as possible. Meeting with parents to go over the student's performance and see alternatives a student may be able to work with so that the student can excel in school. We believe these are some of the ways we can help students, families, teachers, and administrators to feel like they belong.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The way we would build agency in our schools is by creating a safe environment where communication is key. We would let them be part of the decision-making process that is needed for our schools. An example could be having regular school meetings and surveys for them to be able to express themselves. Make elections when we all as a whole would come with the decision of class representatives. This is a good way of keeping the students involved in school decisions. But everyone would still be part of decisions by having communication with the representatives. When your ideas, life, and work are valued, makes you feel safe. As you can freely express what's on your mind without being afraid of negativity. You also feel like you belong in that place, as they are letting you be part of the decisions. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>-Teamwork environment<br>-Breaking down walls of formal roles in classroom, seeing everyone in the classroom as equals<br>- Circle session- where a teacher would pose a question to classroom and allow each student to answer question. For example, how do you feel your doing in class?<br>- Weekly parent survey on child's progress in class.&nbsp; Would give parents opportunity to give direct feedback to teacher on lesson plans/homework<br>- Solicit constant feedback from students<br>- Spend time discussing local issues in classroom<br>- Informal monthly meetings with teacher, students,and parents where you could have a potluck and discuss issues pertaining to school or anything else<br><br></div>]]></description>
