Today I am SO excited to talk about the book that I am currently reading because I think this could be at the top of my favorite books of all time list! It is titled All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. Now let me tell you why I am SO in love with this book so far.
Well first of all this book takes place in Indiana! That means I am making so many connections as I read it. The main characters are high school students in a small town in Indiana. They are assigned a project where they have to find the most interesting places in their state. Well this just so means that I can visualize very well because they travel to a bunch of places that I have been, including a lake in my hometown.
Jennifer Niven, the author is a beautiful and talented writer. The way she describes the characters and their problems makes me feel like I personally know them. I keep getting into the zone so much that when I stop reading, all I can think about is being with the characters in their school and at their homes. I feel so connected with them because of the way Jennifer Niven writes. I am so excited, but will be disappointed when I finish this book. I probably will search for more books by this author.

I am reading big Nate it’s a great book. It is not really focused on the same theme. The character is Nate and he’s in like fifth grade. He is not a very lucky kid.

Today I am so excited because I am almost down with dork diaries! And it can be really funny but at the same time it is disappointed. Because i really want to read this a lot! But there is not only one book of dork diaries. So I can still read more but not the same one. Nikki is a dork and Mackenzie is a popular girl but Nikki still thinks she is and Mackenzie is’nt! Her new crush is Brandon she thinks he is soo cute! The author is Rachel Renee Russel and I am in love with her so far. So when I finish this book I will read on similar to this by the author!

Hey guys! Today I am exited to tell you about my book that I am still reading wich is Called diary of a wimpy kid the ugly truth. It is about Greg where him and rowley friendship end but know they are now b coming friends agin. The author is Jeff Kinney and he has some heart fellings that you really need to notice but he has beautiful writing because it sometimes makes you feel emotions but mostly he has funny writing. I am making connection with Greg because he is trying his best to impress his mom. Another connection is Greg likes to do funny and dum things once in a while and I am the same way because I do funny and dum thing just like Greg does. Hi I am reading blackbird fly and I am so excited because I make so much connections and she is trying to get a guitar because it is only $20 and she saw a 20 dollar bill hanging out of on of her teachers wallet and when the teacher was not looking she took it so she could buy that guitar she was wanting. I make connections with this book because I have a ukulele and it is basically a little guitar and I am still learning how to toon it and how to play it. Hello everyone! This week’s book is The Bad Beginning, it is the first book in “ A series of unfortunate events”. So far the characters are the 3 Baudelaire kids, Violet (the oldest daughter), Klause (the only boy and the middle child), and Sunny (the baby sister). Another character is Mr. Poe. Mr. Poe told the kids something sad, there was a fire in their house and their parents died, now they are being sent off to live with a person named Count Olaf. By the front cover and now, I am wondering if that tall man is Count Olaf, I think he might be a bad guy too. I am also in love with how this author, Lemony Snicket writes. I am in LOVE with this book series! I am in the second book. It’s called the reptile room! It’s by Lemony Snicket. I just finished the first one! Whenever something bad happens to the Baudelaire children I think, “What now?” I really get in the zone with this series.
Lemony Snicket really describes how the children feel about the death of their parents, Count Olaf, And their snake addicted Uncle Marty. It makes me feel terrible and sympathetic. I can’t wait to read more!

Hi everyone I am reading a book called Dancing in the wing and there is a girl that they call her sassy because she always has to put her hands on her hips and because she always has something to say and they make fun of her because she has humongous feet and she wants to do ballet but there is nobody can lift her in the so she can’t be in the dance, the author makes it sound like sassy is talking but it is actually the author talking and her brother has a huge head so she makes fun of him . Even though it is an elearning day for us, I am taking the extra time to try to finish my book today. Not only did I finish my book from last Monday, but I also finished another book called When Life Gives You Lululemons. It was HILARIOUS and definitely one of the funniest books I have read so far this year.
So, now I am on to a new book and this time it is a suspenseful mystery. It is called Pieces of Her by Karin Slaughter. I chose this book because I have read other books by this author that I enjoyed.
Well. this book definitely keeps me on my toes! The main character, Andrea learns that her mother may not be who she thinks she is after her mom pulled out some ninja moves when a shooter entered the mall they were at. Andrea's must now go on her own to stay safe, but to also dig up some astonishing things from her mother's past. Karin Slaughter is such a great author that keeps me guessing throughout the book. She structures the chapters so that they go back and forth between present-day Andrea to then going back into the past to provide her readers with details from the mother's past.

(The Meltdown for short) and I finished it… a few times already. But it is still really good and it is also the newest diary of a wimpy kid book! In this book global warming is the for the readers in the beginning everyone is enjoying the WARM weather outside. That detail would make the readers think why is the book called the meltdown if it is so warm? But later on in the book things started to get cold, Greg had been through battles I’m lost all of them: the neighborhood battle, upper surrey street vs lower surrey street, surrey street vs the safety patrol and greg’s town vs the Mingos! (The mingle are a group of Wild kid that live in a forest. That’s all bye!

Hey guys! I am reading a new book called diary of a wimpy kid rodrick rules! I finally finished my other book called diary of a wimpy kid the last straw! I took a test on it and got a 100%! I am making some connections already because Greg is getting a new diary because his mom thaught that he was enjoying his diary but Greg was not. Greg said if he would be seen looking in that and caring it around and writing in it he would probably get pushed and get hurt and I bet that would probably happen to me also. Happy Monday! I am reading another book by Jennifer Niven because I loved the other book that I read by her. This one is called Holding Up the Universe. It takes place in Indiana, which is pretty cool because it helps me make connections since I live in Indiana! The main characters are a teenage boy and a teenage girl. They meet at their high school. What makes these characters unique is that the girl is the fattest teenager and the boy has a brain condition where he can't recognize faces. I know this sounds very strange, but I promise you that it is really engaging!

I’m reading The Reptile room. I love this series. I am SO close to finishing this book!!! There are so many twists in this book. Like Montgomery Montgomery dead. The author always surprises me, the why she gives us a hint and then completely goes back in the story. Like when Sunny got bit by the Very Deadly Viper. Hello everyone! This week I’ve been reading A porcupine named Fluffy, here’s a little bit about the book so far, Mr. and Mrs. Porcupine had their first child and had trouble finding the perfect name for him, then they decide on Fluffy, but as Fluffy grows up more he’s realizing his name isn’t right for him and he’s not a Fluffy at all.
Something I’ve noticed is that there’s this big rhino or dinosaur carrying Fluffy on him, but he’s never had his name shown yet, or even what he is.
I’m excited to read more and figure out who that gray guy is.

This Monday I am reading Ramona The Brave! And so far it is super good. So at the beginning Ramona and Beezus were at the park because their Mother was running a important errand that they couldn’t go on because it was a surprise about something that they really wanted and needed. Hey everyone! I am reading Dork Diaries called Takes from a Not So Dorky Drama Queen. So far Nikki was in gym class and she was playing Vally ball and she got hit really hard in the head and past out. I infer that she past out because the ball came so fast and when it hit her in the head, she was shocked and past out. The book I am reading is a Dork Diaries and Nikki is the main character. So what I have read is she toilet papered Makenzie’s house but Makenzie is saying that Brandon did it when she knew it was Nikki. So now the whole school thinks that he did it but then Nikki joined the newspaper club and so she could tell everyone it was her and her friends. But then Nikki found out that Makenzie joined it and that is what I got to. Bye!

Hey everyone!
I'm back this week with a mystery book! I just started it last night. It is called Are You Sleeping by Kathleen Barber. I have never read a book by this author, but the reviews and the summary got me interested.
I used to listen to a Podcast called Serial and this book sounds SO similar to it. The main character is Josie and her father was murdered when she was fifteen years old, which was over 10 years ago. The person who killed him was convicted and is now in prison. However, a journalist is now investigating the case and is now writing a Podcast about the entire case that has become a HUGE hit. The Podcast is all about how the man in jail may be innocent. Now Josie has to relive the horrors or her past. I need to read a lot more to figure it all out. I really think this book is going to be a really good one and I will probably finish it before next Monday!

I’m reading Hate That Cat. I chose this book because I have read Love That Dog. They are both poetry novels by the same author. It’s also the same author as Walk Two Moons. I loved that book! Hi guys! This week I’m reading a funny nonfiction book called elephant seals.
I picked this book because I love seals, I want to read more nonfiction, and I like funny animal pictures, so I chose this book.
It is pretty long though so I’m only on the section talking about what they eat.
The reason why I think this book is funny is because the seals have a nose like elephants and so they look pretty crazy.

I heard polar bears are pretty cool so I got a book about cool facts on polar bears I read alittle of the book In the pictures I saw cute little cubs and adult polar bears. When polar bears sleep the mom sleeps very close to the cubs and that keeps the little cubs asleep nice and warm in the pictures I can see the little cubs fighting but that is there play time.

Hello guys it’s Avery and today there is more charlottes web and I am at chapter 8. So what’s been happening so far is that Wilbur has been in his pen and he has been bored for a couple days and then he found a sheep to play with but it was being rude. It was saying that he would die soon and they would kill him and eat him. So Wilbur finally found charlotte in the book and she is giving them advice to not die and believe in yourself. So what Wilbur didn’t like was that she ate bugs and insects. So that’s all I have read so far and I think it’s getting really good and what I want to know is that fern the owner of Wilbur has been hearing the animals and I think she is starting to hear the animals. I just started a new book last night and I had lots of time this morning to get some more reading done since we had a 2-hour delay. My book this week is By Invitation Only. I am taking a break from mystery/suspense and going for something fun. This book is about a couple who are about to get married. However, their families aren't exactly getting along which is making wedding planning a challenge. The groom's family are from South Carolina and are proud of their Southern charm. They are peach farmers and live on a huge farm owned by generations of their family. The wife's family is complete opposites. They are from Chicago and are very wealthy. They are your typical, upperclass city people.
The mothers definitely have different opinions on how the wedding should go. Looking forward to seeing how the wedding will turn out and if the family differences will affect the relationship.

I am reading a novel called Maine by J. Sullivan. I am about halfway through this book. It is going great because the way the author structures this book is that each chapter is told by a different character. In this way I can truly get to know the characters by understanding their thoughts and feelings. This book is about a family of three generations who always go to their family's beach cottage in Maine every summer. The book is all about the changes of the years and the growing of the family. The main characters are Alice, the grandmother, Kathleen, the daughter, and Maggie, the granddaughter. The relationship between these women is very rocky. They do not always get along. And now, Maggie is pregnant and has recently broken up with her boyfriend. She goes to the cottage to spend time with her grandmother, but has not told anyone about the pregnancy yet.

Hello everyone! I finally finished Ramona the Brave and I am now reading Super Fudge. I am reading this book because I wanted to read from a different author and my best friend Rylie read a lot of the Fudge books. So far I think I know the main character. Their name is Fudge. His real name is Farley Drexel Hatcher, but everyone calls him Fudge. He just found out that his mom is having a baby. He gets so confused so his dad has to tell him again, but slower. Fudge is not that excited because he all ready has a older brother Peter and he said he doesn’t need another brother or sister. So what’s been happening is that Avery (ferns brother) is bringing frogs in to scare fern and she also does not like it. It is about 3 kids who are in a abandoned town or city and is invested with zombies and all kinds of other creatures. Right now in the book they are tracking down a creature that is eating all of the zombies brains. They found what it is and it is a tree that is I monster and it uses its roots to grab the zombies and eat them. It actually eats the zombies then burps them out. It is called The President is Missing by James Patterson and Bill Clinton. It is a different book from me because I usually read novels or mysteries. This book is all about politics and the White House and terrorists. I think it is set in the near future. I’m reading a book in a series called Amelia, the one I’m reading right now is called “Amelia hits the road”. It’s super good so far, and here’s a little bit about the book, Amelia, her sister (Cleo), and her parents all went to their hometown, California from where they live now, Oregon and they went to all these weird and cool places for their vacation.

I finally finished shades of gray and at the end Will lied about Hank tripping him later the day Will came back to the shop to tell Hanks dad he did not trip him.Hank kept complaining till Hank an Will had an idea so they both went to uncle Jed and they convinced Jed into whipping Will.But before Will got whipped Hank decided to not get Will whipped but in the end Will got Meg to read and but instead of going to live with Doc.Martin he stayed and lived with uncle Jed, aunt Ella and Meg.

Hello everyone! I am reading Super Fudge. I am more than half way through this book and I am super excited to take a test on it. So last week I told you that Fudge was the main character, but as I read more and more I found out that Peter his older brother is the main character. Peter is in 6th grade and Fudge is in preschool. So their mom just had a baby and they named her Tamara Roxanne Hatcher. For short they call her Tootsie Wootsie. Peter said they have to start calling her Tamara Roxanne because the kids in school will bully her, but his mom said it’s find and she said “who would do that?” So they keep calling her Tootsie.

Hello everyone! I’m still read Double Fudge, but I am almost done. So Peter found out that his friend Jimmy Fargo’s dad is getting married to Giraffe neck! Her real name is Beverly Muldour, but Peter calls her Giraffe neck. Also the Howies are now sleeping in the Hatchers living room. One night fudge came in and started jumping on the sleeping Hatchers! Then that made Turtle bark really loud, but they kept sleeping. Once mom came back into the room she grabbed fudge and put him back in his bed. Then he started singing! Well I am very excited about what I am reading this week! I finally started The Westing Game. It has been on my Want to Read list for a few months. I got interested in the book because of another book The Parker Inheritance. That book kept mentioning The Westing Game and how it was all of the character's favorite book. Now I see why!
The Westing Game takes place in Chicago, overlooking Lake Michigan. A very wealthy man named Sam Westing was murdered. He left clues to a group of people to solve his murder and whoever solves the case will inherit his fortune.
So, my reading brain is doing so much work as I try to solve the mystery with the characters. I am doing a lot of inferring. I am having to keep notes because there are a lot of characters and certain clues that I need to remember about each one. I also have to keep backing up and rereading because I keep missing small clues that are actually important to the development of each character. I can't wait to finish this book to see how it will end!

This week I am reading this book called Shelby’s story and it is based on the movie a dog way home. But one thang 5hat is really cool about my book is that the dog is telling its story. A funny part in it is that this dog finds something on the other side of the fence and she dose not know what it is so she crawls under the fence and he sitter went with her and on the other side was a chicken and her and her sister ate the chicken and they said that it was so good and she liked it and every day they would go back there but there were no more chickens. Hey guys! I am reading the brand new book called Diary of a Awesome friendly kid! It is just like diary of a wimpy kid except it is Rowley's diary instead of Greg’s. I finished it this morning and took a test and got a 90% on it! Rowley is telling about his life and all that but his drawing are pretty good except he forgets to put on the people’s noses. Greg does not like Rowley writing because Greg thinks Rowley is copying him. Rowley and Greg have been fighting a lot. In a part of this book Greg and Rowley were studying for a math test and they went to the library but Greg kept messing around so they kept getting in trouble. Another part that was funny was Rowley was aloud to stay the night at Greg’s house and they had to sleep downstairs in the basement. Greg’s big brother Rodrick pulled a prank on them and started knocking and scratching the window. It made Greg and Rowley wet their pants! That is all I can say because I really would like you to read it by yourself and laugh! I can not wait to read another one! Bye!

I finished The Westing Game over the weekend, and now I am reading a mystery called Missing, Presumed. I just started it and so far it is pretty thrilling! The main character is a detective and she is on the case of a missing young woman. This young woman that is missing is the daughter of a doctor to the royal family, so it is hitting the media pretty hard. I am already learning some clues about the girl. So far the author is leading me to believe that it could be the girl's boyfriend that could be guilty. However, just like all good mystery books, the author likes to keep the reader guessing and could actually be setting me up for a surprise!

The book I’ve been reading is Friends for Life.
I picked this book from the library at school last week.
So far in my book there are 2 main characters, Francis and Jessica, they are now friends and they both have/ had pretty special lives because Francis is the only person who can see, feel, and hear her. As for Jessica, she’s a ghost!
That’s a pretty neat friendship if you ask me.
So far I love this book and can’t wait to read more about these awesome friends!

I am reading Finding Dorothy by Elizabeth Letts.
It is about how the movie The Wizard of Oz was created. It tells the story of Maud Baum, the wife of L. Frank Baum, author of The Wizard of Oz story.
The Wizard of Oz has always been one of my favorite movies, which is why I chose to start reading this book. I am learning so much about the production of the movie. One thing I also enjoy about this book is that it takes place during the Women's Suffrage movement. Maud has to work harder to let her voice be heard. She wants to make sure that the production of the movie captures everything that her husband wrote in the book in the correct way. I am only at the beginning of the book, but I am looking forward to learning more about this time period and the true story of The Wizard of Oz movie.

It is a great story and at the beginning I thought the people in my book were crazy until I found out why they did get 5 animals at a time they got 4 dogs and 1 cat and they got it to replace there dad since he ran away. I just now started this Geronimo Stilton book so I don’t know much about it I was looking through the book and it looks pretty good on the back of the book it says “ It all started when my sister, Thea, discovered and old, mysterious map. It showed a secret treasure hidden on a faraway island. In no time at all, my sister dragged me and my cousin Trap into her treasure hunt. It was an adventure I’d never forget...” that’s what the back of the book said so I’m excited to see what this emerald eye dose because if Thea wants it so bad there must be something special about it. The only way to find out is to read!

Right now I am reading the Westing Game and so far they just estimated that Mr.Westing was more than 2 million dollars but the westing hotel is I weird hotel because it only has 6 hotel rooms but on the lobby still has a lot of places in it.The only people how live in the hotel are F.Baumbach, Theodorakis, S.Pulaski, Wexler, Hoo and J.J.Ford.

Hello everyone! I’m reading Zero Tolerance. It is about a seventh grade girl named Sierra Shepard and how she made a mistake. She took her moms lunch box mistakenly. In it was a plastic knife. Her school has a strict rule that they can’t even bring in plastic knifes. So now this all lead up to her being in suspension! I think this is not fair, because she rides the bus like me, and when you ride the bus sometimes you have to hurry. And a lot of the time you may take something that looks like yours, but it is someone else. Also I am making connections with Sierra and my sister Chloe because they both get kind of annoyed when something is in the wrong spot. Right now Sierra is in suspension. My dork diary is good to I read alot over the weekend It's been so good the characters are Niki also Jessica Jessica’s friends and also there is this boy. Niki and the boy are trying to take care of this dog and her 7 pups but Niki asked her mom if she can watch the dog she said nothing about the pups. But her mom still said no so she is angry and disappointed she had to tell the boy.

Mrs. Jeepers’ Batty Vacation is my book for reading this week.
It is from the Bailey School Kids series which I love to read.
I picked this book out because of the vacation part that reminds me of summer vacation, also because like I said I love the Bailey School Kids and I haven’t read one for a while now.
So far in my reading (I didn’t read very much, I just got it) the kids, Melody, Liza, Howie, and Eddie are under their special oak tree and discussing what to do over the summer break. It got supper funny in the begging because Greg went though the suers To get his friends house and he found out that they were no longer friends. So Greg had to find a new friend. But right know he has to take care of a egg like it is a baby and he dose not want to break the egg because that goes for 25% of his grade. So he takes care of it. So this week I am reading frazzled it is a really good book so far. So the book so far is about at the beginning of the book they got lockers and this new girl sole her locker because they said that the locker was all full so they had to share. But right now they are best friends and they are work on a project of school. The reason I pick frazzled is because on the front title she look all crazy and funny and I love those kind of book . Hey guys! I am reading a book called babe and me. It is by Dan Gutman the author of my weird school. I just started it so I can not say much but I am on page 2- 161. Te first 2 pages are about babe when he pointed to center field and hit a home run right where he pointed. People think it was luck,crazy,stupid or skill. I think it was skill because babe Ruth was one of the best baseball players in the history of baseball. I can make a connection with babe Ruth because I can hit pretty hard and so can babe. Get well soon, little sister is a book that will really get to your feelings because a bad accident happens while her older sister and the little sister is on a Ferris wheel and falls off. But I am not telling you anything else because you should read this book if you find it in you local liability if you have a little sister you might have connections with this. This book is about almost a school year so there is a bunch of stuff happening and it never focuses on one thing. I will read the other books after i finish this one.

Well I finished two books over the weekend, so now I am starting a new one called Vinegar Girl. It is based on the story The Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare, but it is told in modern day. The main character is Kate. She moved back home to take care of her father and her younger teenage sister. Kate's father is a scientist and is trying to make Kate marry his assistant so that he can stay in the country as his visa is up. Kate definitely does NOT want to. This is how far I got. Looking forward to finding out if she marries him or not!

So the book is about Greg trying to do stuff and everything is going wrong for him. Like he has been having weird dreams that a kid told him while they were camping and he woke up screaming because it (somewhat) felt like it was real. Hey guys I finished my last book that was called babe and me. It was all about when this kid and his dad love baseball and travel back in time when babe Ruth called his shot. I took a test on it and got a 100% on it. I am now reading a book called Slacker. I am only on page 22. It is about a beaver that is a slacker so that means he lays around a lot playing video games. One of the problems is the beavers mom comes down and tells him that she is making Ziti and he needs to take it out in 10 mins. then shut the oven off. Well he did not listen and let it burn so the fire department had to come and all the cabinets turned black because of the smoke. That is all I can say and I can not wait to keep reading! Bye!

Hello everyone! I am still read Zero Tolerance, but I’m sad because I won’t be able to finish it before the school year is over. But I am going to try and finish it. I am at the part were Sierra just looked at a new school with her mom because they think it will be a better school for Sierra because they will not suspend kids for mistakes. Frazzled is a really funny book because the character Abby is always stressed out about this cat that her little sister got. Also her life used to be the way she wanted it but know she does not get everything she want when she wants. At school she had a big locker right by the cafe door but someone stole it and she had to share it with that monster she disliked. Today I am reading Blended, and it is super good! I just started it on Friday and I love it so much! So it is about this girl named Isabella and her Mom is White And Her Dad is African American.
