Is this story meant to represent the sheep like tendency of the masses? Is the cult like worshiping of Nollop a call out to certain religions? Could it be compared to Scientology? Both governments had ridiculous rules that made little sense. It feels like it was control simply for the sake of having control over the general populous. Letters are a fundamental way to how we communicate. By taking them away you take away most of the rights a person has. Airports take away our right to speak freely due to safety factors. If we were allowed to say as we please it would cause unnecessary security threats and be very much like the boy who cried wolf. Hate speech rules are prominent on college campuses. I personally think it's silly. The real world does not care about your feelings. Even if I don't agree with what you say I'll defend your freedom of speech. :( :) lol that is not a good idea tho to get rid of our rights. Shortening words is prominent in our texting world.

Lastly, please show proper courtesy; open not your neighbor’s mail”.
The character Nollop, is known for making the phrase: ‘The Quick Brown Fox Jumps Over The Lazy Dog”. A sign with this phrase on it was put up in the center of the island, with its letters’ slowly falling off, providing the basis for the book.

The majority of the book is geared towards Enterprise 32, but the descriptions only rarely mention the progress compared to describing the frustration with the lack of progress. Instead of the enterprise being the focus, the relationships surrounding ella is the focus, which is not an effective story line.
