Book Reflection No 1
Title : Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
Author : Jim Kay
No. of Pages : 332
Genre : Fiction = Fantasy
New vocabulary words (at least 3) :
1. tremble - shake or quiver slightly
2. twitch - give or cause to give a short, sudden jerking or convulsive movement
3. clamber - Climb or move in an awkward and laborious way, typically using both hands and feet.
Summary (in paragraph/s)
This book is about
a little boy named Harry, he is a little boy who wanted to learn magic. He went to a sorcerer school to learn some magic with his new friends, Hermione, and Ron.

The main conflict of this story is between Harry and Voldemort. Harry Potter finds the Sorcerer's Stone and Voldemort (who killed Harry's parents) wants that Stone to so he can rule Hogwarts. Then Voldemort will turn the school (Hogwarts) evil.

at the end of the story, good conquers evil on many levels. Most obviously, Harry – with the help of his friends – keeps Voldemort from taking the Sorcerer's Stone. By doing so, they stop the Dark Lord from getting eternal life. Phew! While not a full, resounding defeat of the bad guy, it's a new victory for the good guy. Harry is rewarded with the knowledge that his parents' love will protect him, even though he never got the chance to know them. He also learns more about his parents and even gets magic photographs of them.
Most interesting part (in paragraphs/s)
The most interesting part in the story is when Harry learned/learnt how to use the wand and his friends too and when the Voldemort (the villain) got in the school and so Harry and his friends stopped Voldemort.
Lesson :
This story/book teaches me about is to be careful of who you talk to so he/she won't maybe like try to kidnap you.
Rating :
I would give 5 stars for this book because I enjoyed the adventures that they went to and when Harry and his friends stopped Voldemort and especially Harry because I think he is my favorite character in the story
