Learning Objective: Students will learn the importance of providing credit to primary and secondary sources. Students will know what "plagiarism" is and why it should be avoided both in and out of an academic setting.

Instructional Activity: Students will be responsible for providing proper citations and credit for their source they researched earlier. This will help them learn how to avoid plagiarism. Examples of how dangerous plagiarism is can be provided by showing them YouTube videos such as "The punishable perils of plagiarism - Melissa Huseman D'Annunzio"

Learning Objective: Students understand citations, why they should avoid plagiarism, and know how to write these citations. They should be able to explain all of these standards in writing.

Instructional Activity: Exit Ticket: Students are to briefly explain the difference between primary and secondary sources, the definition of plagiarism, and how one can avoid plagiarism. This exit ticket will be graded out of five points.

Learning Objective: Students fully grasp the basics of the Idaho Standard on Primary and Secondary Sources. They are all able to explain basic principles of identifying sources and providing proper credit.
