Background: 
Geothermal energy is a renewable energy that uses heat from deep in the earth to generate energy. 

*Currently, the use of renewable energy is promoted in order to maintain our natural resources.

Thesis: 
Chile can benefit from the use of geothermal energy as a renewable energy source, but this type of energy have a advantages and drawbacks. (and this is why the country don't invest much on it). 
 
Paragraph 1 
Topic: Geothermal energy in Chile has great potential
- Chile is located in the Ring of Fire of the world, therefore it is a potential candidate to use this type of energy. 
- In addition, according to recent reports, this sustainable energy source will allow the production of 3,800 MW of geothermal electricity in Chile. (High potential)
*** More environmentally friendly, Renewable energy, Sustainable source of energy,  No fuel is required

Paragraph 2
Topic: Even taking into consideration the above, there are few drawbacks that account why the country does not invest on geothermal energy.
- Great potential for energy supply, but is needed a lot of resources and a specific place to install (High Construction costs)
- On the other hand, geothermal power plants can suffer the risk of earthquakes, especially in earthquake-prone areas such as Chile. (Earthquakes)
***Location specific, Risk of triggering earthquakes, Expensive resource to tap into, Management is required

Conclusion
Geothermal energy is an excellent source of energy, and Chile has the perfect location and has a good theoretical potential for energy production, but due to some of its disadvantages, the country has not invested much in it.
