Pharmacists collaborate directly with the physicians to correctly distribute the drugs to the patients. The also consult with the physicians on the dosage, interaction, and the side effects of different types of medications. Essentially they counsel patients on the use of medical drugs and the amount of intake for the drugs at home.

Helping people has always been my goal in life. I believe that being a pharmacist is the best way to help save people's life because you don't control whether they live or die. I don't know anyone in this field personally but I heard about this field of research through my parents. They told me being a pharmacist is one of the best ways to guide and help save people.

He also discovered that microbes, a microorganism, were the cause of fermentation and disease. Pasteur also did work on the germ theory, which led him to create antibiotics for rabies and anthrax. The germ theory is that many diseases are caused by microorganisms. Louis Pasteur contributed to this field by creating vaccinations and vaccine pills for Rabies and Anthrax. These pills created by Pasteur are what are being distributed to the patients by a pharmacist.

These courses must be taken for multiple semesters. Once all of these courses are the student will be able to apply for a 4 year pharmacy doctoral program. To fully become a pharmacist the student must pass the North American Pharmacist Licensing Exam, the Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Exam, and the Written and Practical Exam. After completed all of these tests the student must work in a residency program for 2 years. Some other certifications needed to become a pharmacist are having credentials in ambulatory care pharmacy, nuclear pharmacy, nutrition support pharmacy, oncology pharmacy, pharmacotherapy and psychiatric pharmacy. Each specialty has its own exam, and is needed in becoming a pharmacist. A pharmacy degree also requires at least 2 years of undergraduate study.

More technology will be used to administer the correct dosage of medical drugs.
