Majority of my life I spent at my grandma's house because nobody was at home to watch my sister and me. But even with time spent away from my mom I knew I could always trust her.

My grandma taught a daycare, and if I wanted to play with others, I needed to make it known to the other children. My grandma was always watching us. If we did one thing wrong, she would make us stand in the corner and look at the wall. This stage is weird, I say I have a lot of both, initiative and guilt. Initiative to want to better myself. And guilt for things I wish I would have done differently.

In my early school years, I become really close with my teachers, but even closer to the school counselor. After the crisis my dad and I also got closer. They all understood what I was going through as a child, and they wanted to help out. Around my middle school years, it became super hard for me. I would say Inferiority would be my side, because it was not just about the school industry but about the older people in my life that helped me get through it.

After being excluded from my friends, I had no idea what I wanted to do or be. I was friendly to everyone, but choosing your friends can be very tough. I started getting into softball and started hangout with my softball friends at school. Then, boom.. I had to switch schools (due to moving houses, and my dad getting married) and decide who and what I wanted to be again. I was taking my life from growing up into consideration. I was not a popular student but I was not a geek. I did not know anyone at this school. Where do I fit in?
Then I found out someone my grandma took care of growing up went to school at my new school. Finding my identity is my side of this stage.

Everyone has something we want to change about something that happened in our life. Weather it was something that we caused to happen by our choices or something life just threw at us. I have not lived very long. But many decisions I made as a child I would have made differently from my choices of friends when I was younger, to now with my many credit cards- who needs 10 credit cards ... One thing I wish would have change would be for my mom to still be here. Our bond would be so much stronger. Ego Integrity would be my side of this, but also my ego means a lot to me.
