Some new names, some familiar. Like many here, I too am thrilled to be completing my final TP. I am a Home Economics, Human Development and Society and Textiles teacher with 7 years teaching experience. I left teaching and started helping a friend to run her business. This led to an Associate Diploma in Business (Accounting) and many years working as a bookkeeper and Office Manager. For something different, I managed Multi-Disciplinary clinics before coming full circle to where my values lie; education. Have enjoyed all aspects of my Masters so far, in particular the experience of placement. This unit is going to be an eye-opener for me as I am yet to see the theory of 'meeting the diverse range of learners needs' in practice....I feel like everyone talks about it, but not many do it in reality, so I'm looking forward to learning and putting it in to practice next TP for my final placement unit.
