However, this can be problematic, as some languages such as Chinese have more characters than what is available in ASCII. Unicode's aim was to fix this problem and so it has a maximum of 32 bits available to be used, creating a maximum of 4,294,967,296 possible combinations. 1.1 million are currently being used today.</div>]]></description>
