However, I noticed that one thing we all readily agreed to was our ability to know how to boil water. This particular comment struck me as I consider the global implications of that state. We didn't go beyond experiences and interests, so I wonder how this exercise would have gone if we had tried to find commonality over very specific values or beliefs.
