The biggest part of the History Of South America is the Treaty of Tordesillas. On June 7th, 1494 Spain and Portugal claimed all the South America and wanted to split the country in half, giving Portugal brazil, and Spain the rest of the newly owned land.
                          Brazil
During Portugal's rain, it had absolute power over Brazil, giving it a General gov't that was highly centralized. But it hadn't been until 30 years before Portugal paid attention to their land in South America, and to make up for it their ruled for 300 years before Brazil's independence. Even though Portugal gave loads of wealth to Brazil but with King John lll's land, anyone who owned it had to develop it which lead to new cities and more colonists farming and owning land. Because the colonists couldn't keep up with the development that was needed they slaved native people to work for them, and this is why many native people were killed along with diseases that the colonists came with. Because of all of the deaths, King John put an end in 1549.
In the 1600s sugar because a huge export along with COFFEE (a huge part of money) and in 1720 gold was found which was the many reasons so many colonists came. Since agriculture and mining needed a larger number, more and more people were enslaved. By 1820 1.1 million of their population counted for 1/3 of Brazil's people. slowly they gain independence from Portugal and soon slavery was abolished.
                        Venezuela
Spainsh colonization begins in 1520 as Spain rules over the land they owned. Almost 200 years after the first rebellion against Spanish colonial rule in 1749 to fight for a fair government. During Napoleon's invasion of Spain, the people of Venezuela take advantage of this and declare independence.
In 1829-30 Venezuela secedes from Gran Colombia. Soon after Their ruler Antonio Guzman Blanco does good for Venezuela he modernizes infrastructure and develops agriculture and education. While in 1908-35 they become the world's largest oil exporter under the rule of a dictator, Juan Vicente Gomez. 1945 the government civilizes after years of military rule.

The Inca empire was in 1438 in Cusco, Peru, and has expanded its empire along with its culture making this the most well-known indigenous culture of South America. religious practices remain the least while Catholicism is the most practiced in all of South America. Other spiritual beliefs have influenced both Spiritual and Secular activities. An example of a Secular celebration of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil a festival that is 40 days before ester, and is also important in the Catholic calendar too.

                    Geography Of South America
South America has many physical regions; Mountains, highlands, river basins, and coastal plains. Mountain and coastal plains usually are found in the north-south direction, while river basins and highlands run in the east-west order. Biomes fill Latin America which is because of their extreme geographic variation. The Andes mountains ( the world's largest mountain) are located on the western edge of South America, the Andes stretch from the southern top to the northeast coast. The amazon river is the life force for the amazon rainforest and make-ups about half of the rainforest. This biome has as many as 100 different species inside the rainforest.
Deforestation can be seen in the forests in South America to make room for agriculture and animals grazing. The causes of this it has greatly altered the land spaces everywhere in Latin America. South America has many climates they go from parched deserts to have rains more on the coast of the South America.

These are known as Natural Gas and petroleum(oil), but sadly multiple of these resources are not developed. South America gets excesses of money from tourists and exporting coffee (majorly found in Brazil and Colombia) and chocolate because South America is native to cacao trees which are made into chocolate
