On page 8, Montag opened his front door by putting his hand in the glove hole of his front door, which is how the door opens. This shows Sci-Fi because it is talking about the future.

One charachtaristic of dystopian is that people are afraid of the outside world. There is also no natral life like many pieces of dystopian works. The buildings are also very mechanical and industrial, and the picture looks very futuristic.
