The economies depending if they are in China, the U.S, France, and Europe. All affect the way the countries work together. For example North Korea has a communist country, they control their people and eveyrthing is fair, people are miserable. The U.S is a democracy, we have a mixed economy, and our economy is based off of supply and demand. We are a superpower. Depending on your economy depends on the power you have around the world and during the Cold War the Soviet Union wanted to control the U.S and make our nation something it did not stand for. This created conflict and tension between Russia and the United States, based off of power and control.

Economic policies affect each other globally because once one tries it, others feel as though they need to also try it. As Churchill said, "The Communist parties, which were very small in all these Eastern States of Europe, have been raised to pre-eminence and power far beyond their numbers and are seeking everywhere to obtain totalitarian control." This quote represents that after new countries became capitalist, others followed suit looking to see if they could flourish as others had.

Economic policies affect each other globally because the spread of a belief in government could cause conflicts between people or governments. These conflicts could lead to affecting each other and this happened in things like the arms race, the iron curtain, and berlin with the US trying to help give them resources while the Soviets try to stop them. This was shown in Wiston Churchhill's speech when he states, "what I must call the Soviet sphere, and all are subject in one form or another, not only to Soviet influence but to a very high and, in many cases, increasing measure of control from Moscow. Athens alone-Greece with its immortal glories-is free to decide its future at an election under British, American, and French observation. The Russian-dominated Polish Government has been encouraged to make enormous and wrongful inroads upon Germany, and mass expulsions of millions of Germans on a scale grievous and undreamed-of are now taking place. The Communist parties, which were very small in all these Eastern States of Europe, have been raised to pre-eminence and power far beyond their numbers and are seeking everywhere to obtain totalitarian control." This was showing that the Soviet was trying to influence the government and trying to gain power with communism while the US was trying to stop them with capitalist thinking. This shows how conflicts arise and how policies affect each other globally.

Economic policies affect eachother globally through trade because with different economics, people produce things faster and slower than others. Some people also because some people have bigger economies than others, also the nations that take over might have different wealth and materials. "For with primacy in power is also joined an awe inspiring accountability to the future. If you look around you, you must feel not only the sense of duty done but also you must feel anxiety lest you fall below the level of achievement." Thos is what Winston Churchill said, he says that someone like America is a world power and if we go down then almost every other world power goes down because we support them with so much.

Economic policies affect each other globally through trade. Churchill states "Because you see the 46 millions in our island harassed about their food supply, of which they only grow one half, even in war-time, or because we have difficulty in restarting our industries and export trade after six years of passionate war effort, do not suppose that we shall not come through these dark years of privation as we have come through the glorious years of agony, or that half a century from now, you will not see 70 or 80 millions of Britons spread about the world and united in defense of our traditions, our way of life." This means that world trade can solve hunger from the low food supply and help rebuild industries after the war.

Economic policies affect each other globally because they cause different opinions. Each economic opinion causes the other to become upset with other powers and cause tension. In his Iron Curtain speech, Churchill says, "In front of the iron curtain which lies across Europe are other causes for anxiety. In Italy the Communist Party is seriously hampered by having to Support the Communist-trained Marshal Tito’s claims to former Italian territory at the head of the Adriatic. Nevertheless the future of Italy hangs in the balance. Again one cannot imagine a regenerated Europe without a strong France. All my public life I have worked for a Strong France and I never lost faith in her destiny, even in the darkest hours. I will not lose faith now." Churchill had said that although they may cause unbalance to happen, he still believes that the other countries will stay strong throughout the spread of economic policies.

Economic Policies affect each other globally because governments believe their form of government is the better one which leads to many conflicts. Some conflicts that occurred due to this reason are the Iron Curtain, the Berlin Wall, etc. For example, the speech, states, "The Communist parties, which were very small in all these Eastern States of Europe, have been raised to pre-eminence and power far beyond their numbers and are seeking everywhere to obtain totalitarian control." This shows that they are trying to have total power which will be taking over all the countries and changing their form of government.

It challenges them economically because it can cause them to have less power or money. If they are a capitalist government it will cause the working class to be significantly poorer and less severely overworked which may cause a sort of rebellion in the future or a strike. "Behind that line lie all the capitals of the ancient states of Central and Eastern Europe. Warsaw, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Belgrade, Bucharest and Sofia, all these famous cities and the populations around them lie in what I must call the Soviet sphere." If there governwemnt is a dictatorship this may cause them to have a tyrnat that will take over the country and oppress the people living there. This type of government will also cause a severe lack of payment and order as they will be able to make all of the rules for the nation and economy.

Economic policies directly affect other countries because of their connections to other countries. When one country has a certain economic policy and are successful in implementing that policy, other countries around this region will be able to notice this success and are likely to replicate the policy in order to not be left behind. This is especially evident in the various communist states' rise to power, as Winston Churchill in his speech quotes: "The Communist parties, which were very small in all these Eastern States of Europe, have been raised to pre-eminence and power far beyond their numbers and are seeking everywhere to obtain totalitarian control." This is very clear in demonstrating that the economic dictatorships of countries around them like Germany influenced their rise to power because of Germany's unique economic beliefs.

Economic policies affect each other globally because economic policies cause change in opinion and it effects the way people live and are treated. For example people who showed the slightest pity for communism were treated badly and got taken out by law because they were "against" capitalism in the United States. It also changes global relationships. For example the Cold War the world was literally split communists and capitalists. It caused un-unity. Like said in the Iron Curtain speech "How do economic policies affect each other globally?" Economic policies affect people globally by the way people are treated and change their ways of thoughts.

Economic policies affect each other globally because communism can spread from one country to another. Even though it is at first in one area, when it spreads, it can cause a lot of destruction especially if the ruler is a tyrant. This is because communism is where the government has all the power, so it is a problem if the government is corrupt because there is no one to stop them. This is also evident in the Iron Curtain speech where it says, "I do not believe that Soviet Russia desires war. What they desire is the fruits of war and the indefinite expansion of their power and doctrines... What is needed is a settlement, and the longer this is delayed, the more difficult it will be and the greater our dangers will become." Economic policies like communism cause destruction when the ruler is corrupt and causes war, and it would be no one to stop them because all the power belongs to the government. There would be endless power and he says that it would be difficult to stop. This is why Churchill thinks it is so dangerous, because when there is a corrupt leader it can cause a lot of destruction, and war, which would affect the whole world.

Economic policies affect each other globally because communism can spread from one country to another and take over the world. This scares other countries, especially the Allies because they want to maintain democracy and to maintain a free country. Communism means that the government has all the power and people don't have many rights. This means that no one can stop a communist government and the Allies want to avoid this spread at all costs. It is mentioned in the Iron Curtain that, "The Communist parties, which were very small in all these Eastern States of Europe, have been raised to pre-eminence and power far beyond their numbers and are seeking everywhere to obtain totalitarian control. Police governments are prevailing in nearly every case, and so far, except in Czechoslovakia, there is no true democracy." This causes a sense of Rivalry between countries that want to maintain capitalism and countries that want to spread communism. This could affect other countries because they would put government policies and try to stop the spread of communism, they would also try to stop the spread of communism in smaller countries. This could cause many wars and for countries to join these wars even if they have nothing to do with them. These disagreements can cause massive wars and what is really required is for countries to be at peace and support what the other is trying to do, not win over each other. This could cause destruction and fear amongst people, this could affect many countries. This rivalry could continue for many years to come.
