Tabetha Really stood out to me because she was nominated to be the Teacher of the Year Nationally! I also really liked listening to her because she has lots of background knowledge in early childhood which is pretty much the age group that I want to teach! One thing that stood out to me was her emphasis in letting the student be more independant!

I thought that I really connect with Spencer because he is another male in this Career field. It is always nice to be able to hear from other men! As a teacher he felt that one of the more important things is the pace you are teaching. You need to be able to regulate the pace in your class!

With Natasha, she defined assessment as "getting to know what the kids know, and what that information means to me". She was very big on the use of exit tickets in her class. They allowed her to see where her students were at in their learning at the end of each day!

Taking notes throughout the day was her go to option of assessment. Using the learning curriculum and Mind map was her favorite was to asses in her classroom. You need to be able to keep lessons flowing. Collaboration was also a very big portion of her ideas. "It takes a Village"!

I think that was stood out to me the most was that she is a SPED teacher! I have worked in a few different SPED classrooms and from what I can tell, hers is one I'd like to be in! Inclusion is huge in our lessons! We need to be sure we include all of our students in our lessons!

Coordinator of Instructional Teaching. Assessment is when u have a goal and what it takes to meet that goal. She's really likes the ideas of smart goals. Setting your own goals can keep you motivated to teach better lessons!

I think that I felt like I really resonated in her classroom because she is a Kindergarten Classroom! I LOVE the Kinder age level and getting to hear her ideas was awesome! Assessment is hands-on for assessment! Keep the students moving and engaged! HAVE A TOOL KIT AND A ROUTINE!!!!

Was a Fifth grade teacher and even went up into middle. Again, with the fact that he is a male, I feel that I sort of lean in a bit more. It's nothing against the women in the career, I just am always ready to hear advice from males in this area!

She feels that observations are the most important in assessment. More of a day to day notice. SMALL GROUPS were her favorite ways to use assessment. Builds more connections with her students through small groups!

He has a very unique take on assessment because was a school Psychologist. Assessment is an estimation, snap shot of that kid in that particular day! No one assessment tells you everything.
