Hello. 19 partners and 67 students from 9 countries met in the Special Maths project. In our project, we aimed to provide students with Special Education Needs skills to use their mathematical knowledge in daily life situations. We carried out our project with activities planned under 5 themes (numbers, measurement, our money, geometric shapes and spatial relationships). We developed the skills of using Web 2.0 tools actively. At the end of the project, a Mathematics Corner was prepared with all the partners simultaneously, including all project activities, and we introduced the project to the participants. I think that we have done good work in this project that I am the founder of. First of all, I would like to thank my founding partner, Ana Maria STANCU, and all our students, teachers and parents who contributed to our Special Maths project.

We have implemented a beautiful mathematics project with partners who are devoted to the teaching profession, hardworking and give importance to group work. There were fun activities that we designed to adapt mathematics to daily life and to change the perspective of mathematics lesson.

But especially to discover mathematics in everyday life. We visited museums, went to shops, used public transport and more than that we rediscovered the objects around us. We created the Special Maths e-Twinning wall in the school, teamed up with all the partners to create joint products and enjoyed our achievements. The project team was wonderful and contributed to its success. The project was appreciated by students and parents who want to participate in a new one. Working on this project was an extraordinary experience not only for me, but also for the students who follow.
I have 4 classes and three special education students with very different difficulties. Sometimes it is difficult to work in the classroom with students with different characteristics. Motivating them for Mathematics, teaching them for life and teaching those who don't have difficulties at the same time is a challenge. This project made it possible to use new web 2.0 tools, new strategies and to link mathematics to everyday situations, communication between colleagues from different countries and art. It was extraordinary!

Our project "Special Maths" had 19 partners and 67 students from different countries and we took the challenge to work with our students with Special Education Needs, after the consent of the parents, to gain the Mathematical Knowledge of thems, such us numbers, measurements, money, geometrical shapes and spatial relations and to use it in their daily life. We held online teachers and students meetings, via Zoom and we organised every step of the next month 's activities.
In the end of our project, a mathematical corner was prepared from all partners in their schools and we introduced our work to the students of our schools. We celebrated the eTwinning Day the same day, on 9th of May2023 and we very excited for this interesting and fantastic project. Thank you Sefa, Anna Maria and all partners for this experience!!!

This was my first eTwinning project I was involved in and I learned so much from my teammates. We started in November and after 7 months we reached the end. This was a such great opportunity for me. I got to know my hardworking, enthusiastic colleagues from all around the Europe, Turkey and Jordan. They motivated me to be good as possible in my work. In our month activities they showed me different ways and approaches of how to teach mathematics to children with special educational needs and how to connect maths with real life situations. Our webinars were very useful for me, especially our Geogebra webinar.
And the most important thing for every teacher is response of their students to the project. And their reaction on this project was so suprisingly beautiful. They enjoyed every step of our project. And they learned a lot, they improved not only in their maths skills but also in IT. I'm very proud of them. In my opinion project has achieved the primary goals.
I would take this opportunity to thank all my teammates, and the founders, for all their effort and support. It' s been an honor working with you.

I am Mira, a student with special needs, studying at Al-Shamsani Al-Gharbi School. With the help of Miss Maram, I participated in the Special Maths program. It had a great impact and changed. I got to know the arithmetic subject and learned new things from the program. It increased my knowledge and skill. I hope there will be more programs that help us in our lives.

What an exciting first eTwinning experience! I immediately learned how eTwinning works in this big project. Under the expert guidance of Sefa, we were called upon to contribute. Together with a team of three other international colleagues I worked out a piece about 'our coins'. The multitude of commands and inputs of Web 2.0 tools have made it a very engaging experience!
