I have been a 1st grade teacher for 5 years. I have spent all of those years with the same school district.

I look forward to furthering my education because I have already gained so much useful knowledge. I am excited to learn new innovate ways to use technology in my classroom, that is what I really hope to gain from this class. All of those years I have taught the first grade with the same school district. I love my job and the students that I get to work with! 

When the pandemic hit I learned a lot of new ways to use technology, both in and out of the classroom. This was mostly in the form of Google classroom and Zoom meetings. This was actually a good thing because I have continued these practices within my classroom.

I feel very blessed that I get to wake up every day and do something that truly makes me so happy!

One is 20 years old, she is a successful cosmetologist. The other is 14 and in the 8th grade. I am very lucky because I get to take her to school with me everyday. I also have a fur baby, that really does think he is a baby. He is a 3 year old French Bulldog named Ozzie.
