I took over my now co-workers leave and got hired the next year! I was in 7th grade co-taught for a year and a half and then got moved to Pre-K.  I have been there ever since (4 years). I love Pre-K! I am lucky enough to have some of my students for 3 years, so to watch them grow socially/emotionally, independently, as well as academically makes my day (or years). This will be my 5th year teaching in CPS.

My first and foremost goal as a professional learner is being able to integrate more tech tools for my students, especially my special needs students.

My second goal as a teaching professional is collaborate with parents, admin, and coworkers more. We recently just had a Math Day with the parents and it was a HUGE Success!

My third goal as a teaching professional is to make learning as much fun as I can, especially for my active little preschoolers, who learn best through exploration!

My fourth and final goal as a teaching professional is being able to take the time to reflect and the most efficient practices and being flexible in needing to change to accommodate all learners and learning styles!

I hope to gain knowledge of how to explore new way to incorporate literacy skills through online technology and media tools.

I also hope to learn new ways to have easy access and familiarity to different literacy skills and strategies to help evaluate student learning and the efficiency of their learning in a fun, interactive way.

Lastly, I hope to feel more confident in developing lessons plans that incorporate and accommodate/ meet the diverse learning needs of all my students.
