Bowie's ideation and creation of the character known as "Ziggy Stardust" developed from the idea that intelligent lifeforms live in outer space, on other planets and stars. This, as well as the idea that stars and planets themselves could be depicted in a recognisably humanoid form. Ziggy represented all that was not tied to Earth's laws, however was also critical of the Earth he had landed on. Social commentary from a being separate to the world we inhabit.

Design Solves Problems: At its core, design is about fixing things. Designers use storytelling to explain their solutions in a way that makes sense and looks good.
