When the Spinning Jenny was invented it was important because it made the jobs for factory workers easier. workers didn't have to do it by hand. they had to do stuff to work the machines but it was something that was simple to do making spinning wool or cotton easier.

the Coronation of Queen Victoria was important because nobody thought she would do anything because she was fourth in line. Queen Victoria ended up surprising everyone when she went through with imperialism.

The Berlin Conference was a really important event during imperialism. it was important because it was Africa's surrounding country's deciding what parts of Africa they would control. The craziest part of it was that not a single one of Africa's leader were invited even tho it was all about deciding there fate.

The Steam Engine was important because before it was invented transporting goods was hard do to roads getting muddy and it would take a while for it to be transported. The Steam Engine made a two week process into a five day process. The Steam engine was also able to transport a lot more then you would be able to with a horse and buggy.

Mathew Perry going to japan was important because he forced japan to open there ports for him. He just sat there in the port until the ruler of japan opened there port. He was the first to do that and then other western powers followed after him.

The Macadam Roads being made were important because without them it would have been very difficult for people to get to factory's when it was raining and snowed. before they were made the roads were dirt and they would get giant ruts in the road and then horses and buggy's would get stuck when they got muddy. This also made transporting goods a little faster.
