Aside from my mom, Adi had been my inspiration since  senior high school started. Him being an over-achiever in academics, as well as in writing, I am really pressured and there are times that I want to stop pursuing him since I feel like I don't deserve him. Despite those thoughts, I chose to continue and be the best. I want to be his standard and I want to become someone who deserves him. 

Many already asked me, "why him?"

He was there for me from the start. From the good times and bad times, from my downfalls and breakthroughs, from my defeats and victories, and from my pain and healing; he was there. I may not be the epitome of perfection, but I can do my best to make him happy, to make my tinatangi and tahanan happy. 

I actually call him "Adi" and in the bible, "Adi" from the root word "Adiel", it means blessing. Adi was the best blessing that I received because of the fact that he is my greatest lesson. The lesson that I am willing to learn again and again, in this lifetime or another.
