Sharing the planet.
For me the most useful thing that I have learnt is that we should never disturb the animal chain and their habitat. Moreover, if I can suggest something to my fellow students, I would tell them that he/she should learn more about endangered animals, animal adaptations and their habitats on Internet or encyclopaedia. I have improved a lot in my research skills as I have gained a lot of knowledge about animal adaptations, their characteristics and how they migrate. At the same time, I feel that I have become a responsible person towards our environment and nature. I have understood the importance of flora and fauna. Through this unit, I have learned that I should spread awareness amongst people about the importance of nature. I will stop others from poaching and cutting trees

Unit end reflection
I have learnt that we should not disturb animals and their habitat. I have also understood the importance of nature and its species. I would like to suggest the other students to gain more knowledge about our nature and other organisms by doing research and reading encyclopaedia. Moreover, I would suggest them to visit some animal or sanctuary to see them in person. After this unit, I have improved a lot in my research skills as I have done a lot of research on animals and their adaptations. Meanwhile, I have become a responsible person as I would never hunt or harm any species. Also, I would educate others and stop them from poaching or hunting. I Have learned about Adaptation of plants and animals to envirmental conditions,the circumstances that lead to Adaptation and human impact on natural habitats.
Humans can help as well as hurt.

My reflection
The most important thing I learnt were the adaptations and habitats of animals and l got to read a lovely book called talon the falcon.We even learnt about poems and made them to and I loved making my poem about dogs . The ATL skills I used most was research skills and self management skills. I did a lot of research about animals by reading books and on the internet. I also improved my attitude and behaviour towards wildlife even more than before .
Throughout this unit I stopped eating non vegetarian food and realised how important the life of an animal is and how the life cycle of wildlife gets affected due to animal extinction .

My reflection
The most useful thing I have learnt from this unit were the adaptations and habits of animals. I would tell viraj to pay a little more attention in the class. I improved in my reasearch skills because of the assignments in school and practice in my house. I was having trouble in understanding the adaptation and habitat meanings so that was a challenge for me I restored this challenge by reasearching at home .
I have developed by learning not to pollute like throwing plastic on the streets ,to send letters to the environment incharge so he can ban hunting and to encourage everyone to plant more trees .The action that I have thought of taking is putting up posters about hunting ,deforestation and habitat destruction

The most interesting thing I learnt in this unit was adaptation. For example how a Chameleon camouflages itself to match its surroundings and hide from its predators.

The ATL skill that I have improved with this unit has been 'Reflection' because this unit has made me think about the environment and how our actions can preserve or endanger animal life.

One of the challenges that I encountered during this unit was that I didn't know about some of the animals that were already extinct . That also made me think that we need to preserve our environment today for the future generations.

I did a lot of research and eradicated all my challenges.

One action that I have thought of post this enquiry is that I have along with my friends taking care of stray puppies, their vaccinations, food etc.

I would like to tell my fellow students to do extensive research on endangered species and to understand our role in saving them from getting extinct. I would also ask them to figure out ways in which animals and humans can co-exist happily, and keep our planet healthy.
I feel more socially responsible towards my planet and all of it’s beings. I feel more empathetic towards their needs and will start taking all the necessary actions that benefit everyone. I will get together with my peers and make short-term and long-term strategies to ensure a healthier and greener future for the coming generations. I understand how important animals are for the balance in ecosystems, and I will make everyone around me aware of this. I respect the human-animal relationship and their inter-dependence on one another.
I will learn as much as I can about endangered species and teach others about the threats they face. I will look for ways to raise money for animal conservation organizations through my neighborhood, family, friends and school.

I also learnt human actions can preserve or endanger life.
The ATL skills that i used are ,research and social skills.Research because: I researched about this interesting topic a lot.
And social skills because, in class we made posters and collages in groups.
Fact: when it was my birthday,I gave plants to grow as a return gift .my mother just got us new pencils that are made up of paper.i also use a lot of newspaper rather than fancy wrapping sheets to cover gifts.
I think these small actions can maybe help us make this earth a better place to live.
