Vegas United are a Southwest or Summerlin based Club program. They are on the introductory side of club due to their size, costs and number of licensed coaches. They are based out of Spotted Leaf park and they have been around for several years. Costs are low to join up. It is only $200-$400 to play for them. They are a good alternative for parents not quite serious yet but don't want to stay in the Rainbow league. They have a fair share of parent coaches on staff. You will often see that with the more affordable options of club soccer. VU teams practice 2x per week typically. They recently announced that Jared Montz (Youtube Personality) would be their new director of soccer.

Companies such as Phase1, PSI or Las Vegas Game Changers are changing the way kids become good at their sports. While many offer soccer training on site like Phase1, most do the S.A.Q. or functional strength classes to get them ready for the next level. See the link below for Phase1 sports.

The Eliminators are a small club in the Summerlin area that practice at Buckskin Basin. They are as affordable as it gets for a club soccer experience. 70-80% of the coaches are not licensed at D or C level or higher. Many parents will look this way. Costs are $100-200 for the season. They don't offer much in the way of technical training or special coaching for that price but they do have teams that compete in the Nevada South League. If you are looking for a team on a budget than this may be for you. They are not known for highly competitive teams so that may sway your decision as well.

Determine how much you are willing to spend on this. Money is a factor for USA soccer. It is a pay to play system but you will also get a better product in most cases for that money. AAU basketball is the opposite. You don't get licensed coaches and you have no clue what you will end up with. The cost factor will help you decide which club level to look at. The cost also should be considered with extra training for your child. If you are doing one of the serious clubs and your child is 9-10 or older, you should plan to get extra help for them. Bigger clubs are typically organized and will layout the expectations. Read those details closely and ask questions.
