Prior to this he has worked in a variety of roles all of which have centred around investing into social purpose organisations looking to raise capital to further their growth and impact. He has worked at Macmillan Cancer Services on its pilot fund to invest into health-tech start-ups around cancer care; led Big Society's relationships with trusts and foundations and its work around partnerships and innovation, focusing on the development of early-stage impact funds; led Comic Relief’s social investment strategy and led a community housing investment fund for CAF Venturesome. 

Alongside his job Amir is the Investment Committee Chair at SIS Ventures (the venture arm of Social Investment Scotland) sits on the Impact Advisory Board for the Growth Impact Fund and is an advisor to the Pathway Fund and Barking and Dagenham Giving. Prior to joining the social investment sector, Amir worked in the financial services sector in a variety of roles for BNP Paribas and Royal Bank of Scotland. 

Currently, he is the Innovation and Engagement Manager at UAL’s Social Purpose Lab, where he explores how participation, innovation, and storytelling can help organisations align with their purpose and drive meaningful change. His work includes leading community engagement on net zero and managing the Social Purpose Innovation Fund.

He has 15 years of experience working in the field of Social Enterprise and Sustainability globally, having launched his first venture back in 2005 – raising £25,000 in only 7 hours. Since then he has worked for UnLtd: the UK foundation for social entrepreneurs, supporting thousands of social entrepreneurs to start and grow their businesses across (in particular) the Youth and Education sectors, securing an investment of almost £10m for universities across England, in collaboration with the UK Government.

Carla now works as a consultant for fashion start-up businesses helping them to take product visions into reality.

Alyssa is a creative enterprise specialist with extensive experience running and supporting creative and technology-based start-up businesses.

Alyssa has designed and run creative entrepreneurship programmes; both in her current role and in her previous role at InnovationRCA, the Royal College of Art’s award-winning start-up incubator and centre for entrepreneurship. While at the RCA, she also managed the Royal College of Art’s angel investor network, AngelClubRCA.

As Chief Operating Officer (COO) of InnovationRCA start-up Olombria, Alyssa gained first-hand experience of the challenges and opportunities of early-stage entrepreneurship. Olombria is a multi-award-winning AgTech start-up tackling the issue of declining bee populations using embedded systems, semiochemicals and machine learning.

Alyssa Becht is Programme Lead for Greenhouse: New ideas for positive change - a 6-month start-up support programme for south-London based entrepreneurs and UAL graduates looking at physical and digital innovation. She also runs Greencoat Studios – low-cost art studios and workspace for recent Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon College of Arts graduates.

As part of her role at UAL Samantha oversees the CCW Diploma in Professional Studies, coordinates the CCW Climate Advocates and is the founder of the student-led Camberwell Repair Café. Samantha is a Director of Brighton Repair Café - a CIC which has been running since 2012.  Samantha is a steering group member for the Community Repair Network UK and has worked with many national and international organisations including: The Restart Project, Green Architecture Day, Emmaus homelessness charity and CC4D Uganda. Samantha has participated in panel discussions on material waste, and given master classes on Community Repair for BLUEPRINT to a Circular Economy, funded by the EU Interreg programme.

Before working in the UK Higher Education, Luminita founded and led a premier private events consultancy after leading the corporate events business unit for the largest Romanian travel and events agency.

She currently holds an MA in Innovation Management from Central Saint Martins, a BA in Human Geography from the University of Bucharest, and a PRINCE2® Agile Foundation Certificate in Project Management.
