The communicative approach is based on the idea that learning language successfully comes through having to communicate real meaning. When learners are involved in real communication, their natural strategies for language acquisition will be used, and this will allow them to learn to use the language.I believe what learners learn in real life situation or context relating to language they use naturally can bring communication and language competence to such learners through good discipline and proper guide from a facilitator learning of a language and fluency can be meaningful.

The teacher will start his/her lesson by demonstration of picking up a chalk, a duster and or a book and ask the learners what she/he is doing and after few discussions then can only introduce the topic to the learners for example that the topic is present continuous. Afterwards she/he can pair up learners and model a real life situation by asking learners to carry out a conversation by requesting other learners to do them a favour. This communication task is natural to learners and who cannot reason adequately why they cannot do the favour will to have to eventually help them out. This activity will measure how readily learners are to communicate effectively dealing with real life situations and can help them expressing themselves to gain communication competence.
