However, some areas prove polluted. There are sometimes plastic bags, cigarette butts, and colorful milk cartons lying around on the road, waiting to be picked up and thrown away. Those trash lying around the street contribute to land pollution, and even air or water pollution. I believe that we should do something about it. Whether it'd be throwing trash on the street or properly separating the biodegradable from the non biodegradable, we should at least help the environment in nurturing itself and the people around.

In my community, there are people in poverty who are unable to consistently purchase healthy foods, and though my community is relatively clean, the rivers are polluted with different sorts of trash.

Food prices continue to grow while the people's income doesn't. Many families and individual suffer from hunger in the community.  I don't think the environment is as clean and stable as it should be. Sometime there are street corners where people dump all their garbage. There are also many people who are unconcerned with littering. The roads and sidewalks can use more work because there is uneven ground that are tripping hazards.

Traffic is very heavy because of the lack of proper management. For environment, there are many pieces of trash that can be spotted in different areas. On the sidewalk, road, etc. The environment is not cleaned which may lead to negative effects on people, animals, and more.

I like to imagine the Philippines as the little America of Asia. It likes freedom and suffers from the same problems as America does only 10 fold worse. Political gun fighting is a thing here and oh boy is it fun when you read on the news about some local shootout or a government official hiding makeshift attack helicopters in their mansions.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ The poverty here is also insanely out of proportion. If you use public transportation like me I'm sure you had been hassled or begged on by some hungry kids or some random dude who hopped in you jeepney and don't get me started on the random dudes holding kids on their hands. It would usually be appalling in most countries but here that's just everyday life. Finally there's the environment. It rains almost constantly, leaving no sun in the sky. The trash situation has alleviated quite a bit, but there still needs to be some improvements. Otherwise, the Philippines both have a few similarities environmentally. It's just that I hope the Philippines is able to do manage waste more efficiently in the future.

As a result, many people in the Philippines do not have access to luxuries and basic needs that those in higher social classes can access at any time. This results to lower class citizens committing crimes in order to have those needs and luxuries available to them.

Unfortunately, many people are greatly affected by the typhoons due to resulting floods that damage their shelters and hinders their lifestyle such as having water and gas outages, when buying food from the grocery, and many more. In my opinion, I believe that it is truly helpful if the community starts to attend and comply with the issue by proposing solutions and coming up with decisions that would truly benefit the place. More importantly, it is better if the funds are equally distributed to ensure wellness throughout the community.

To this very day, poverty has been one of the top unsolved issues being faced by others. Because of this, we'd tend to question: does poverty ever have a solution at all? The answer is yes. Of course, it does, but its solutions require ample time and politicians who are set on the goal of solving poverty and wish to abolish the neglect towards the uneducated and unprivileged.
