Age does not come handy when it comes to cancer yet could drugs help? The answer is yes, drugs can be one for the reasons for gaining cancer, for example, smoking tobacco, which knowingly can damage nearly every organ in the human body; it can also be the reason for death. But there is a variety of drugs that can solve cancer as well. Listed from National Cancer Institute of drugs that has been approved from FDA (abbreaviated from Food and Drug Administration which is a federal agency), here are the following drugs used to aid in cancer.

Abemaciclib: used to treat breast cancer.

Abiraterone Acetate: used with prednisone to treat prostate cancer (bladder cancer) that spreads for patients who can’t respond to drugs with low testorene.

Abraxane (Paclitaxel Albumin-stabilized Nanoparticle Formulation): used in breast cancer, that metastasized (spreadation across the body), non-small cells lung cancer and pancreatic cancer.
But these are just a few of countless drugs.

What have I learned about cancer?

Cancer could be anywhere among trillions of cells. For example, it could be one cancer cell among millions.

There are two cancer tumors (the growth of abnormal tissue), one named malignant and the other benign. Malignant tumors spread throughout the body, and invade cells nearby. If possible some cancer cells fall away from the tumor to travel around the body.

Benign tumors, do not spread but are alarmingly large in size compared to normal cells.

Cancer always divides up and spreads without stopping.

Cancer cells are able to invade the immune system which can cause harm, symptoms in the lotus diagram.

Is a genetic disease.

Each cancer that has been genetically passed down is the same yet different mutation of the parent just like the daughter of a mother, a copy of the parent.

Cancer cells have “drivers”. The best way to describe this is by saying its a leader, how it works is a tad bit complicated. In the human body, we all have a “main gene” which is in the normal cells called proto-oncogenes. If changed with mutation, the gene has a chance of becoming oncogenes; which are tumor cells (can help in spreading cancer) this way the oncogenes can kill of cells in the process of apoptosis (the death cells.)

In 1947, Sidney Farber, founder of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, known for creating different solutions for cancer performed two surgeries. One treatment involved to cut out cancerous mass in the body the other using radiation to therapy to burn them off.

Sidney Farber also investigated if drugs could cure childhood leukemia. Which is one most common cancer among children, (one out of three patients of cancer are diagnosed with leukemia.) Leukemia is a malignant disease located in bone marrow and other blood organs, which basically produces a huge amount of white blood cells which don’t operate correctly and overcrowds the red blood cells.

When it came to medicine the majority of the human race through the cancer was incurable bringing fear of the disease globally.

A known physician named Galen had announced that but he did write down a few surgical ways for breast cancer if the tumor is the first stage, it can be completely removed but that depends if the tumors are benign.
