Ela é semelhante à mitose, na qual as cromátides irmãs são separadas, resultando na formação de células haploides produzidas na meiose I. Assim, a célula haploide produzida na meiose I divide-se novamente durante a meiose II, resultando em quatro células haploides.</p>]]></description>
