I would need to know if the child is actually hers. She assumes it is from the scar but there are also scars on many people so we are never fully sure. I would also have to know why she would choose to give her kid to a trader, which maybe is something common in the Chinese culture. I will have to look up how China felt about people giving up their child and if it made the process harder.
