- give credit for MOOC courses (pre-approved ones), or combine with a local assessment for credit
- start an online 'game' similar to lifestyle games where people take identities and participate in game-like activities related to the course that gain points (then related to assesment) . Could be like creating a team, making up a project, building a school (physical plus factors like staff, faculty, etc )
