I agree that she wasn't received as well by the older kids, but I think that's how concerts always go. I also think it was incredible representation for our youth of color. Affirm is a very white space and an even whiter staff, and I think it was great to have her there for a community-wide event. Kids came alive in that concert in a way that was really cool to see.

I personally do not care if people are bored by boundaries talks or specific trainings like suicide prevention or youth with autism or other differences to be aware of. Last year I was incredibly frustrated by the attitude surrounding staff training, especially from some of the other unit directors.
