It refers to long term shifts in temperature  and weather patterns . These shifts can be natural but are also known to be made but human actuon due to burning of fossils like coal,oil and gas which produces heat trapping gases.
Climate change brings a lot of issues in human life and activities.  One of the effects is infectious diseases because changes in temperature,  humidity patterns and rainfalls due to climate change can affect the range and the distribution of disease carrying insects like mosquitoes and ticks.This then increases the risk of the diseases like malaria , dengue fever etc.
The shifts in temperature can also trigger natural disasters like floods , wildfires and hurricanes . These events can cause trauma depression,  anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder.
