Tuần vừa qua, các con đã hoàn thành tuần học thứ 5 của năm học.

      Con được tìm hiểu bố cục, trình tự, những lưu ý khi viết bài văn tả phong cảnh. Đồng thời, trong môn Lịch sử - Địa lí, con hoàn thành phiếu ôn tập chương 1, bước sang chương 2 với chủ đề Những quốc gia đầu tiên trên lãnh thổ Việt Nam.

Các con cũng đã hoàn thành bài kiểm tra Unit đầu tiên của môn MATHS và ESL.

     GVCN xin gửi tới PH các nội dung học tập tuần 6 để Quý vị nắm thông tin và thuận tiện hơn trong việc hỗ trợ con học ở nhà. Kính mong bố mẹ sẽ tiếp tục sát sao, động viên và hỗ trợ con ôn tập các kiến thức cũng như chủ động chuẩn bị nội dung cho các môn học tuần tới.

This week we completed our end of unit ESL test. We also started unit 2 focusing on these learning objectives:

• Speaking: Ask questions to find out information and to clarify meaning on a range of topics and respond accordingly.

• Listening: Understand, with support, most of the main points of short and extended talk.

  
  

Next week we will focus on the following learning objectives:

• Reading: Understand, with support, most of the main points of short and extended text.

• Use of English: Begin to use if clauses in first conditionals.

• Speaking/Use of English: Give a sequence of instructions. Use an increasing range of modal forms (e.g. needn’t (lack of necessity), should (advice), ought to (advice/obligation).

• Listening: Understand a range of instructions.

• Writing: Write a sequence of instructions. + Write, with support, short texts which describe people, places and objects, and routine past and present actions and events.

2. MATHS

• This week in maths we had our unit 1 and 2 test. We also covered the following learning objective:
  Understand that the mode, median, mean and range are ways to describe and summarise data sets. Find and interpret the mode (including bimodal data), median, mean and range, and consider their appropriateness for the context.

• Next week in maths we will learn to estimate, add and subtract integers.

3. SCIENCE

• This week we studied what causes diseases, the last part on the unit, please revise the scientific inquiry when studying for the test.

• Next week we will have a Unit test on Thursday and begin Unit two Material and Properties

4. GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE

• This week, the class planned and wrote their reports on how we communicate with others, highlighting the skills they gained during the challenge. Learners reflected on the potential of global communication and shared what they learned from their peers as well as from adults

• Next week, the class will present and complete their End-of-Challenge Project on the topic ‘How do I communicate with people?

5. ICT

• This week we looked at information online and identified what Fake News is and how fake news can spread

• Next week we will complete Challenge 1 project.
