-Many people are now able to drive while eating with one hand. You can pay, eat, and order all your food without even leaving your car.
-The chapter is about how McDonalds is selling food but customers don't know what's in the food.
-Page 101, "According to the handout Mcnuggets also contain several completely synthetic ingredients, items that come not from corn or soy beal field, but from a petroleum refinery or chemical plant."
- Page 102, "I could not taste or feel the petroleum or the antibiotics or the hormones or the feedlot manure even though I knew they were there."
-Page 102, "By the time it reaches us industrial food has been processed so much it no longer seems like something made from plants and animals.
-Page 101, "Six chicken Mcnuggets contain nearly twice as much fat as a regular hamburger."
-Page 100, "Isaac announced that his white meat Mcnuggets in new Mcdonalds recipe, we're tasty. When I asked Isaac if the new nuggets tasted more like chicken than the new ones, he seemed surprised by the question. "No, they taste like what they are which is nuggets."."
-The author's purpose is to inform us on where the food we eat comes from. The message the author is conveying is people are eating and consuming and eating this food, but they do not know what they're eating.
-The fast food industry is lying to customers.

Since the rise of the use of High-Fructose Corn Syrup came a rise in obesity as well. In 1971-1974 there was a 5.8% use of corn in the use and ever since 2003-2006 it has increased to 17.3% with obesity and heart disease, and Type 2 Diabetes. People used to eat corn raw and that's when corn gave more energy. When you give corn to cattle and it consumes it, the corn loses up to 90 percent of its energy. People in America don't realise what they are eating they simply eat and go like in fast food, while back then people like the Aztecs worshiped the corn.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
"with fast food. After a few bites you forget what youre eating. It's not exactly food, but a kind of food substitute. So you eat more and eat more quickly, bite after bite, until you feel not satisfied, exactly, but simply, regrettably full." PG 107

"We finished our meal in under ten minutes. From the packaging to the taste, fast food is designed to be eaten quickly. Real food is a pleasure to eat." PG 106

"Processing food also Burns energy. All of this means that the amount of food energy lost in the making of a Chicken McNugget could feed a great many more children than Just Isaac." Pg 105
